Well since a twitter report says we're trying to trade the 27th pick for cap space I would want the Lakers to take an international player to stash. I really like Cedi Osman's motor, athleticism, and dirty work mentality. Osman has already said he's going to play 2 more years in europe before coming to the NBA. So I would like Osman here. Can we add him on here?

I think Upshaw can be had with the 34th though.

Went with vaughn.....people love youth and talent, he has the most of both being the youngest and one of the best scorer in the nation. I was interested in Upshaw but to many redflags and theres chance hes still there @34th

Christian Wood, easily.

19 years old, HT 6'11'', 7'3+'' wingspan, blocks shots, has post moves, and can shoot the ball and potential for 3 point range, rebounds well, can get out and run. Forty more pounds away from being a load in the paint. Good project with very high potential for a late first round pick.

This thread is a fan forum mock draft. All teams previous has drafted before us thats why the list is limited. For purposes of this tread, he was drafted 17th by Milwaukee.

But to answer your question, almost no chance of him dropping to the 27th. Wasn't he even slotted by some as late lottery?

Payne won't drop past OKC or Rockets. I actually think Indiana might take him if Lyles and Turner are gone by their pick.

The kid is extraordinarily talented, but there's something really wrong between the ears. I'm not sure we can give him a guaranteed contract. If we can get him at 34, great. If not, I think there's too much risk involved with taking him at 27. Right now for me, it's a toss-up between Christian wood and Rashad Vaughn. Right now, I've got Wood ranked as a slightly better prospect but I feel he's a bit redundant with Randle. Vaughn can fit next to Clarkson IMO. I'd probably go Vaughn right now if I had to choose, but it's close.

EDIT: FWIW, I think Vaughn goes in the 15-22 range. My next mock will likely have him landing in Milwaukee.

i still think Vaughn is merely the next Nick Young. Rakeem, Woods, and Upshaw probably will be a better pro.

Nick Young is not that bad. I might be misjudging him based on perception, but if he took things more seriously and put in more work, he probably could be a better player. I'm thinking that his poor shot selection has something to do with his attitude, partly wanting to showboat.

If you put his ability with Kobe's attitude, I guarantee a totally different player.

With that being said, if Vaughn shares the same attitude, then yeah, he could be the next Nick Young.
