Just want to say that moonpie got owned by jeroka in this last page. If moonpie thinks the Lakers built that lead because of Russell then it shows me how much guys are really paying attention and actually watching what's going on in the game inside the game. The Lakers simply pulled away from Philly because of a few things, they sunk some 3's and played decent defense and turned them over a few times. None of that was a direct correlation to D-Lo, and like many have said he was struggling with his shot and defense and they built the lead despite his ineffectiveness.

Guys need to get over the fact that every time the Lakers play well if D-Lo is on the floor that it was because of him. As far as that unit being pulled that's the Catch 22 that every coach has to deal with when his team is rolling. Pulling Russ wasn't that bad, now pulling Julius could make an argument because he truly got into a great rhythm defensively and offensive because he finally figured out that no Sixer could stop him from bull rushing the paint.

And the only reason the Sixer even resulted to using high pressure was because it doesn't take a genius to know that the guys Byron put back in had to warm up and the pressure would catch a cold player off guard. But it wasn't nothing the Lakers couldn't figure out.
