I went with the bold pick and said Randle... I think he's going to get the most consistent minutes/role for the season, unless injured... Not saying he's going to score 30 a night, just that I think he'll have the most consistent production.

I think if Russell comes in with a scoring mentality rather than a passing mentality... Gets hot and stays hot, he'll be almost a lock to lead the team in scoring... He'll be the biggest threat to score 30+ any given night, but he'll have to split that with Clarkson at least to start. And I think Clarkson can easily put up 20 any given night, but I think he'll be streaky at doing that. I just think it's going to take a while for he, Clarkson and the rest of the perimeter players to figure it out.

I think those 3 will be within low single digits of each other as a season average, though. So it's a toss up in my mind.

Could be Mozgov too though... But I doubt it... I think Russell and Clarkson are going to eventually, go full-3ball... So they're going to have some big nights, but they'll also have some sub 30% shooting nights which will impact their average obviously.

I actually think there's a decent argument to be made for Lou Williams as he is the more seasoned player with a scoring mentality but I eventually think Russell will push to be a lot more aggressive like we've seen in preseason games and enforce himself on the offensive end more as he gains in confidence. I predict a big season from him ahead of a break out 2017-18.

I just don't think Randle is going to average more than 26 to 28 mins a game just because the amount of bigs on our team and him being probably the least versatile as far as covering positions and the lack of spacing he provides. I voted for Clarkson simply because he has shown to be consistent. I think russell is more likely to have 30+ pt games but when his shot isn't falling I don't see him being able to find other ways. Clarkson is a more complete scorer and can find ways to get going besides the 3 ball. Also he will share more time on the floor with D'Angelo and he was much more efficient w/ him vs lou. Overall I think it will be close between the 2 guards and if we are going to be successful we need close to 40+ pts from the 2 of them on a nightly basis.

Most likely Russell, although I doubt there will be a big gap between him, Clarkson, and Lou.

If Randle is our leading scorer, we are F.

I say one of the 3 guards. Russ, JC or Lou Will all depending on minute allocation and exact role. However, knowing none of that information, I say Russ

I voted Clarkson. Not sure if Dlo is going to be consistent enough to lead the Lakers in scoring, but he'll definitely have big games. Plus the sophomore slump is real.

I'd be shocked if it isn't DLo or Clarkson. I'm going with Clarkson cause I think DLo is going to be able to and focus a bit more on facilitating under Luke.

lol @ NIck Young on the poll. If Nick Young is top scorer on the team next season, Lakers are for sure #1 pick bound.

I'm gonna maintain my confidence in D'lo. Hope he has a breakout year.

I'll shave my chest hair if Russell doesn't average 20 a game

(side note: not happening)

It's not gonna be close, at the slightest...like some of you suggested
At least a 5 ppg swing IMO, from the second best scorer

D'Angelo eats first on this team, sorry

I went with Julia. I think he's gonna surprise a lot of people and PF is one of the weakest positions defensively other than Draymond, Davis, and Towns. I can see him putting up 20-22ppg. I think DLo will be close behind.

Not this year, not ever actually....have you seen him play last year?
How in the world he's gonna double those numbers, with that abysmal offensive game?

yea max randle can avg is like 15ppg on avg %. id rather have him avg efficient 12ppg to go along with 10rpg and decent defense next season. iirc julius havent even score 30 in his 1st full season.

on the other hand 3angelo and his splash buddy clarkson should rain them 3s next season so 17-20ppg isnt too much of a stretch.

I missed responding to this one, as I thought the forum was mostly dead and fantasy football drafts have over taken my mind.

My response would have been Clarkson. I think you'll see him averaging 18 PPG this year and Russell a few shades below that. I'm guessing around 17 PPG for Russell.

I wasn't able to vote either but it will be Clarkson... He is free to attack, doesn't have to initiate the offense most times, has worked relentlessly on his game and has skills... I hope he drops over 20 a night but I see him at 18.5 PPG with Russell at 16.5 PPG...

I voted for Clarkson but I am having a change of mind. Clarkson has a complete skill set and has experience under his belt but Russell's mind set will make him have an edge of Clarkson.

Russell has fire in his belly which will make him more consistent. If given the green flag he looks like he will come at you every given night whether he is shooting well or not.

One thing I saw from DLO is that he wasn't in good enough shape to be consistent offensive player last year. This season/summer, he already looks like a completely different player because of his condition. Talent wise, it's no contest who the most gifted on this team is. However, DLO needs to improve his body if he ever wants to become the player he can be.
