Toss up between Auguste and Young imo... I'm sure they'd prefer to dump Young but it might take a while to come to an agreement. Yi's contract is too valuable to simply cut him, but we're super deep at he and auguste's position... And Auguste didn't really impress me... So I'm betting he's the first to go from that list.

I actually don't see them doing anything with Young this year unless he has regained his shooting touch and some team needing bench scoring wants him at the deadline. I just don't see where they benefit financially from cutting him this year. I voted Wear but could easily have picked Auguste.

Me too, I think we'll keep Auguste and Wear till the end of preseason as they usually like to have 3-4 5 man units during camp and we need PFs to guard our PFs during scrimmages.

As much as I want nick to be cut first, I think he at least makes it to training camp and will probably be one of the last cuts. He might even make it to the season. Really not an easy decision to cut guaranteed contracts.

If it's going to be nick young then it would be today since it's the first day of his contract being locked in for this year and thus the stretch would just apply to his last yr. there's no reason for them to wait if that's their plan. If he's not cut today I'd assume hell be there for training camp and preseason.

Even if not today, I'd think it might take a couple of days to get with his agent and formalize the details. Whether today or in a few weeks doesn't matter as long as they are sure he's not going to be around when training camp starts.

Russell's response to a question about Nick Young kind of sealed it for me. When asked 2 different questions about Nick Young, he responded "sure" to each one.

I noticed that but didn't look too much into it. To me Dlo was just getting away from the question as fast as possible. You don't have to be best friends with everybody in the locker room and its seems like the rest of the locker room still gets along with nick. Randle and clarkson both played in the drew league with him and Nance tweeted him the other day. I honestly think that Fans have much stronger feelings against Nick than the actual Lakers do.

Young, IMO they're waiting till sept deadline so when he is stretched its only for the final year of his contract. He'll get paid his full year this year and will count against our cap but the stretch amt. per year will be lower. I'd add Brown to the list, If wear balls out in camp and outshines Brown (which I don't think will take much) I could see mgmt. cutting bait with Brown.

I would have preferred knowing the full camp roster before placing my vote. :/

It's wear and is not even close

I mean. Come on. This dude is not a nba player.

Young can fill it up
If young can give effort on defense and pass the ball every once in a while, he could stick and show value

Dude can certainly score. That's for sure.

I liked the energy Augustine had. Better than sacre
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

I clicked Nick Young so fast I didn't realize Auguste and Wear were on the poll as well.

The teammates are not in any way against Nick. Remember when that happened, it was Dlo who was alienated and not Nick. Everyone kinda got over it already so hopefully won't be an issue regardless of whether or not Nick will be on the roster or not.

I like Nick. I think he could be productive in this O. But him and Russell would have to put this whole thing behind them. Don't need nonsense like this going on behind the scenes.

I trust Luke to make the best decision.
