This is rough
There are no aspects of the game looking good right now

USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team
Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

Anyone else think it's time to blow the team up?
Honestly, we might be stuck at the 9-12th slot this year. Won too many games to tank. Might as well get value for RANDLE and Clarkson. Throw in Young and Williams. Try to move Deng and Mozgov as well.

Larry was playing so well. Again, Luke's 20 min max "starters vs 2nd unit" rotations. Just play whoever is playing well.

Nets have allowed 110+ in 14 straight games and we make them look like the 2004 Pistons with our awful ball movement and lack of shot making.
Not sure what it's going to take to turn this around. They need some time off but it's not coming for a while.

No weak side rotations by the guards to get the boards. No point defense by the guards. Poor closeout defense by the guards. A pattern emerges.

We need two really good defenders on this team. I don't see anyone developing into that sans Nance.
We need Whiteside or somebody like that.
Again Randle looks completely different than he did when we were successful.

Seems like the "vets" we have on our team aren't making an impact as the Lakers brass thought they would make. Time to move some pieces, Mitch would be a fool not to think about it.

Moving anyone is posible. This is year two of a rebuild. How did we do in 05 with Kobe and Lamar? We have no one close to either of them now. This will take 2 more years even with trades.

This is the biggest thing. We go as he goes. When he looks completely disengaged and plays frustrated, we're not a very good team. I have 0 idea why he came back into the ball game in the second and fourth quarters. Larry Nance outplayed him. And if that's the case, Nance deserves to be out there over him. If he wants to be closing games and his normal rotation, he better play well. And yet another road game with under 20 assists and we didn't come close. 11. I don't think we had an amount that low even with Byron Scott as the coach.
Where's the ball movement? Where's the side-to-side passing? Where's the passing up good looks to get great looks? It's one action and one set of movements and then that's it. Looks a lot like last year except no one has Kobe, Scott or Hibbert to blame it on.

Dlo, Clarkson, and Lou can't be successful together for this reason. Lou actually plays the most D.
I'm to the point where moving Clarkson, Randle, and someone for a defensive ace star is sounding amazing if anyone would play ball with us on that.

Going damn near 9 minutes in the 2nd quarter without scoring, and another 6 minutes in the 4th is flat out pathetic.
11 assists tonight. Still not moving the ball nor moving without the ball, and add to that these guys can't make a damn shot to save their lives. Lakers made these Nets look like one of the best defensive teams in the league by only scoring 97 points.
They get outrebounded 61-49. LOL
Defense is still garbage. Only defense these guys know is fouling. 40 FT attempts for BKN
Lakers do get a consolation prize though. They only turned it over 10 times.
Onto the next loss.

I would be surprised if we sold low. Hell Mitch frets for months on small trades. I think this group of youngsters sticks for a while. The vets may be another story however.
Crazy as it sounds I think if we play poorly the front office will give up on the playoffs and move some of the vets who may have value to a team with an injury or one who need a piece to get to the next level.

I'm sorry, but Mozgov and Deng's contracts have no value to any other team unless a kid comes with it. Even then, I highly doubt any GOOD GM would make the move for Mozgov. Only deal i could see right now for either would be Mozgov for Noah and that's just because that contract is worse lol

I didn't single out him. Williams, Deng and Young have value. These guys aren't the reason we suck right now.... it's the inconsistency of the kids. On top of that we have a rookie coach going through his first real test. We play no defense and good teams turn themselves around by playing defense. Hopefully we see an emphasis on that end soon.

Not moving the ball and selfishness has set in. It all started with Jordan right at the time D-Lo went out. And it trickled down.
This game was a perfect example of seeing how guys checked out when they didn't get the ball...so when they did the shot was going up.
Also Luke has to start shouldering a lot of the blame...his insistence on playing Ingram big minutes is mind boggling to me when it's clear he struggling.
He doesn't shoot when he should, his defense is gonna be years before he can help,he just doesn't and will probably never have the body to have that type of defensive success.
At any rate we're 10-18 and now have the same amount of losses as the other bottom feeders...only a matter of time before those teams catch us in wins.
2017 lottery.....here we come again.
