#2 to lakers?

Post#1 » by smdyp » Thu Jun 26, 2008 5:32 pm

ESPN radio reported that the Lakers and Heat are in talks that would trade Lamar Odom and the #58 pick to Miami. In exchange the Heat would trade to the Lakers Mark Blount, Udonis Haslem and Miami's coveted #2 pick in the draft. Rumor has it Riley is trying to clear cap space as much as he can, and wants Odom back in the fold.

After we get Beasly we'll trade Luke for Lebron. That Beasley deal is some no legged rumor flotaing around on CL.com.

WOW, Thats crazy if it happens, but I doubt it.
Imagine Pat Riley ex Lakers great helping his old team out...........McHale started a bad trend when he decided to help his old team out.

Where would beasley play?? Small Forward? PF off the bench? I'd rather keep lamar and trade him for a more seasoned player that can contribute now. The last thing we need on this team is younger players.

Jerry West got us Gasol so why can't Riley get us Beasley?

lmao @ this rumor.

I'd say there is a -70% chance of this trade going down.

And to top it off, my prediction is most likely more accurate than this rumor.

i meant what i said, it could happen, but it is highly unlikely

i just put down 200 on -70% - since i'm assuming Kno has the inside scoop

This is unnecessary. If we're gonna do anything in this draft, we need to get a pick in the 30-40 range and get Dorsey.

If anything I could see Marion coming here for Lamar, before I see us ripping that #2 pick away.

Although Riley fn' owes us for giving us Butler instead of Flash in that final hour. I don't want ' Beasley either...Mayo, Love, Rose I'll accept if this nutty rumor was in fact true. Beasley is an undersized PF scorer with a punk attitude, that doesn't play D, he's a tweener without a consistant J.
