Kirk Hinrich is a nice option too, but his contract sucks. It all depends if Buss is willing to spend the cash though. Too bad we passed on Billups, he'd fit PERFECTLY in our offense AND improve our perimeter D tremendously.
with anthony parker the problem is that toronto know he can shoot, defend pretty well and is on a cheap contract for what he does
they're going to be wanting a whole lot for what he offers
concerning hinrich, people always seem to look at the amount of money he's owed, if we're trading for anyone we're probably going to want them for as long as kobe is playing at a high level anyway, its not a matter of saying "Oh that guys got XX mil remaining and LO/ariza is an expiring etc. etc... signs point to us re-signing lamar (if we don't trade him) for a lesser amount over 3-4 years anyway, what's he going to cost in comparison to kirk hinrich??
also need to take into account, that if we're trading for kirk, we're going to be using farmar as bait, what about farmar's extension we don't have to pay for?? i for one quite like kinrich's contract, sure hes there for 4 or 5 years or w/e it is, but he's far from having any negative contract value to the lakers
