Lots of rumors going on here in Pittsburgh about the Pens making a few trades tomorrow. One rumor is Colby Armstrong. Hope this doesn't happen. One of my fav. players on the team.

I won't be posting tomorrow. I'll be at my brothers watching it there. Here's to hoping the Pens get some good players tomorrow via trades and the draft.

Bourdon is a beast. Imagine Chara teaching him a thing or 2 :o . Realisticly I see the Flames getting Brandon Sutter. He is slotted to be picked around then and Sutter being the GM not pickings his nephew is mean. Thats a slap in the face IMO. If theres a top player I think the Flames can get is Esposito.

I reallly hope the flames trade up because realisticly we can't keep all our core players next year so why not trade them away and stay semi contenders. I expect Huselius to be traded to move up.

I dont see that being mean at all. It would be doing a injustice as a GM to pass up a better talent to just draft a player because hes in your bloodline. I dont think Sutter lasts to #18 anyways, so it wont matter.

Is there any chance the Flyers take Cherepanov or is it most likely we could end up with Turris. The local show was pointing toward James Van Riemsdyk as a Leclair type player. An what about this Czech kid is he anywhere on there radar?

I have heard several reports that Philly is trying to trade the pick.

Some mock drafts for anyone who's interested:

http://www.sportscity.com/NHL-2007-Mock-Draft

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?fid=11084&hubname=

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/hockey/columnist/woodlief/2007-06-20-mock-draft_N.htm

Looks like the top of this year's draft isn't as cut and dry as last years. It seems nearly unanimous that Kane and Turris will end up as Top 3 picks though

Here's some info on Bourdon:

http://hockeysfuture.com/prospect/luc_bourdon

I don't think Vancouver will be trading him.

Claude Juilian was the New Jersey Devils coach this past season but was fired towards the end of the year. Seemed like he was a good coach while on the Devils.

Who would we possibly trade with? I can't see us getting anything that great since the players at the top of this draft are not great players. Hopefully we just take Turris or the other kid with the weird name lol =).
