Didn't Nashville re-sign him?

Didn't see this coming. Bye Bye Nashville, they will be moving to Canada.

What in the world is happening in Nashville.

I don't care about the picks they got, this is just brutal... they lost Hartnell, Timonen and Vokoun... and probably soon Forsberg and Kariya for what?

I think it's safe to say they will be leaving. With a playoff team, they barely averaged 14,000 fans. Now with this going on, they'll get 11-12,000 a game.

I wonder if Bettman's getting the message:

"Franchise stability is untenable in a market like Nashville. Let the rich Canadian buy my team and move it to a location where people will actually watch the games."

Nashville has officially stopped trying. At this rate they won't even bother to move, they'll just let themselves be harvested by every other team in the league until there's nothing left

Don't forget a couple years ago with a 23 mil cap they made the playoffs but this is redicolous. Oh and the Owner signed off Balsillie that he can't buy the franchise.

Canada deserves another franchise.

On the other side of things, great move by Florida. They have a nice offensive squad and Vokuun can make up somewhat what they lost in Luongo.

Bold prediction, Panthers in the playoffs next season, even just with this move.
