A Murray-Ingram swap doesn't work with contract considered though, because Ingram would be coming in as a possible 1 year rental.

I think Ingram would be happy to be in Atlanta and any trade would be contingent on Atlanta's conversations with BI's agent on next contract similar to the Pacers with Siakam. Pels probably add value too.

I would much rather prefer DJM at 4/114 than Ingram at a potential 4/221. 100 million less for similar production.

I floated the idea of something around Bridges for Trae the other day. Would that be of interest?

What do you add to either of them to get Trae? Trae is younger and much better than either

I wouldn’t add more than one 1st if it’s Bridges going out.

If it’s Cam Johnson I’d add four 1sts or so.

I don't think the Magic agree to send all that, but if they do, the Hawks would be foolish to turn it down.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I just think Ingram is the best player in 2024-25 you're getting back for Murray.

The concern is after 24-25. If you trade for Ingram.youbhave to be prepared to give him 50+ a year.

No worse than it is already? Better if JJ doesn't miss as much time next year.

He is. But doesn’t work with contract concerns. I have Murray > Ingram in trade value.

3rd team is needed, more primed to be risk avert - probably because they too are trading flight risk value - unlike Hawks who are trading a locked in value contract Murray.

To Pelicans: Murray + Capela

To OKC: Ingram + LNJ (or Capela direct)

To Hawks: ______ (from OKC) + 25 Lakers 1st (via Pels)

What does Presti give up for Ingram? How does Presti feel about resigning/retaining Ingram? Does Presti like the fit of Ingram as 3rd or 4th fiddle in OKC?

Hawks don’t take the Ingram re-sign gamble - they get Giddey (maybe). Or Dort+.

How is Atlanta getting the picks to trade Murray for two players that are both better than Murray?
