Right, like I said, I imagine Strus is a keeper for Cavs. The OP that we're all reacting to included Strus. So I also did in my altered offer idea.

I disagree that Pels are set on not taking back long term salary. This would have them well under the tax, Nances 11 mil. will expire when Murphy's new deal starts, and McCullom can be dealt next offseason to clear space. Strus's 15 or 16 mil. a year is not some cap anchor, and he would be a useful player for Pelicans (and Cavs).
