The Kings MIGHT trade Hawes for Beasley, but not JT

and definetly not to take on James Jones contract.

Hell no. The Kings already have a 6'7 midget PF who can't rebound. His name is Carl Landry. Jason Thompson on the other hand is 6'11 and he is one of only two rebounders on the team, the other being Brockman.

The Kings just can't give up Thompson.

Just sayin'.

So one's progressing while the other is regressing? Is that your point?

No, my point is that Beasley, despite having an off year, has consistently put up better numbers than Thompson. ecuhus1981 and stock01234 claimed that Thompson had better numbers, but this is not the case. I'm not saying that Thompson isn't a better player than Beasley--only that he does not put up better numbers.

2 years is a small sample size to claim that he had an 'off' year. Maybe his rookie year was a fluke? Maybe it was an off-year. Making a claim either way is kinda premature at this juncture when the sample size can go 50/50 in either direction.

Whatever, I don't care whether he had an off-year or not. That is beside my point. Beasley, even if he didn't have an off-year, has put up better statistics than Thompson during their rookie and sophomore seasons. That is a fact, not a claim, and it's all I had to say on the matter. You're looking for an argument that's just not there.

Hey Flash, how about this:

Keep your overrated overpaid junk and we'll keep our 6'11" combo 4/5 bundle of energy. Have fun floundering in the forever lotto when Wade blows your team off to go play with LeBron in NY or Chicago!

Where did I say that Beasley was better than Thompson? In fact, I said almost the direct opposite of that. Defense/maturity/salary considered, Thompson is a more valuable trade asset, even though Beasley has put up better statistics. If you're going to call me out, please read my posts carefully before jumping to conclusions.
