TOR / BOS / MEM: MEM = playoffs, Raps get Younger

Post#1 » by Rapsobsessed7 » Sun Feb 6, 2011 6:36 am

I'm basing this off BOS willing to attach Bradley to JO to dump him as per that other thread

To TOR: Mayo + Thabeet

To MEM: Barbosa + J.O'Neal + Dorsey + Bradley + Miami 1st

To BOS: Haddadi + Carroll

Toronto gets younger

Memphis gets good pieces and make the playoffs

Boston dumps JO to re-sign Perkins and Davis

* instead rework it with Allen to Boston? If BOS would rather that

Rondo / Robinson / Wafer
Allen / West
Pierce / Daniels / Carroll
KG / Davis / Harangody
Perkins / Shaq / Erden / Haddadi

Conley / Bradley / Williams
Henry / Barbosa / Vasquez
Gay / Allen / Young
Randolph / Arthur / Dorsey
Gasol / O'Neal

Calderon / Bayless
Mayo / Weems / Johnson
Derozan / Wright / Klezia*
Amir / Davis / Ajincia
Bargnani / Evans / Thabeet / Alabi

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Awful for everyone but Toronto, big surprise. I'm sure Barbosa is worth the money that could go to resigning a big. Boston gets nothing at all. MIA first is not an asset in this draft.

This is basically two deals by Memphis, one with Toronto and one with Boston, and I doubt they do either one.

Memphis passes. Just do Reggie Evans for Jermaine and Bradley then let Jermaine and Barbosa expire in 2012 when there are better free agents than this summers.

I've seen alot of garbage trades proposed with Toronto involved but this one just might top them all.

To actually say that Memphis gets good pieces and makes the playoffs because of this trade is incredible.

Basically. The Boston one is at least debatable though - I can see an argument existing for both sides. Can't say the same about the Toronto one though.
