UTA-PHI

Post#1 » by Jazzfan12 » Sat May 21, 2011 10:31 pm

Utah gets: Jrue Holiday, Nocioni's expiring contract (Waived), 16th pick
Philly gets: 3rd pick, Devin Harris

Jazz would probably try to package 16 and 12 to move up back into the top 9, but I don't that would probably be a complicated deal to add on whereas this Philly-Utah trade is fairly similar. 76ers can take Kanter to get their center and get a solid point guard, Jazz get a great point guard prospect and more leverage.

Holiday is the least likely Sixer to be moved.

It's good value. We're just not interested in moving Holiday.

Dont make me laugh!

You asking Jazz send the pick for Free!

It seems the same trade as follow :
Jazz in: Turner

76ers in: Raja Bell

I'm guessing Raja Bell isn't held in the same esteem in Utah as Holiday is in Philly, but I'm willing to be proven wrong on that one.

No, he isn't. EDIT but I think the addition makes it doable for the Jazz, maybe take out the 16th pick.

A Jazz fan came up with it...

I think it's a no from us because of our FO & Collins' stance on Holiday.

Jrue has more potential than any player in this draft (I'm not high on Kyrie at ALL), so he'd definitely be worth a top 3 pick.

Devin Harris might only be worth a mid first and expiring at this point in his career. Maybe that's not true, but I'm not sure personally. If people say Iguodala is only worth an expiring and a mid first, this is a steal of a deal for Harris.

I'd decline because I'm not trading Jrue for Kemba / Knight / Kanter, but I guess I can see it not being "sexy" enough for the Jazz either.
