sacramento/Denver trade

Post#1 » by jcwkings » Sat May 21, 2011 11:25 pm

Sacramento Trades: #7 pick, udrih, whiteside (too much idk thoughts?)

Denver Trades: Raymond Felton, Kosta Koufos, 2nd rounder + cash

sac lineup
Felton/Jeter
Evans/Thornton
Greene/Garcia
Cousins/Thompson
Dalembert/Koufos

Why for the Kings?

Right off the bat this a much deeper team. A solid bench with thornton becoming your sixth man and bringing scoring off the bench. Felton can prosper in your offense with the pick and roll. He is also going to have cousins and dalembert who can finish. Felton does not also need the ball in his hands, so he would fit well next to Tyreke. A proven pg with a scrappy play style. Works hard and is only 26, so he can be a part of this teams future. Overall this team would pretty much be ready to start winning games only setback is cousins and tyreke. They must perfect their games(take a big step like d-rose or westbrook)..... and if they do that next year, this could be a dangerous team fast.

Denver Line-up (taking into account we are able to resign afflalo,Nene, and chandler)
lawson/udrih
Afflalo/Burks
Gallinari/Chandler
Nene/#22 pick
Mozgov/Whiteside

Why for the nuggets?
Well, we do lose some of our depth and we get a little younger and gamble on alec burks. but overall this could help us in the long run. We move nene to the pf and bring in mozgov as our starting center.Whiteside would also get more minutes with us.We get udrih as our back up pg and hopefully now george karl won't be playing 2 pgs at the same time. so just for that reason i think its a win- win situation for the nuggets.

Felton is barely better than udrih, this is a hell no from the kings. The only reason felton put up those great numbers was because he played for the pg guru dantoni. If udrih played for him his numbers would have been great too.

So please this is insulting.

Felton is much better than Udrih, but yeah this trade is quite bad for the Kings.

Way too steep of a price for Sacramento. Felton is better than Udrih, but the 7th pick is more valuable than everybody in the trade combined. If the goal of Denver is to get the 7th, Felton is not going to do it. But if y'all really just want Udrih and Whiteside, you can have them straight up for Felton. And no thanks on the second rounder.

I feel like I always see an offer like this from you on the Kings board, and if so my answer remains the same as it was before. Kings pass and its not really close.
