Dorell Wright for Luke Babbit or Nolan Smith, Kurt Thomas and a 2013 2nd Round Pick.

Not sure how good any of those guys are (in Thomas' case, how much he has left) yet i'm still inclined to accept.

Saves us money, gives us a vet big, and a future draft pick.

Ehhh....we don't really need more marginal players. I'd probably rather just hold on to Dorell and let him and Barnes battle it out for starting time.

Thomas would solve our need for a backup big (can play both 4 and 5 as well). Smith also would give us a backup Guard and would satisfy our remaining needs and the price is right for both. I think we might wind up with a small saving on our cap as well in addition to a draft pick. Make the pick 2013 and I'd have to say yes.

Port wins in talent but a veteran presence big and defensive pg are needa for the warriors. GS gets to use the full MLE for a player

my guess is that this is pretty much a meh deal for everybody, teams and fans

still, it actually make some sense for both teams and neither team is really risking much

one of those "why not" deals that happen occasionally.

I think it is good value for Portland. With Batum on the rocks I think it is necessary for the Blazers to pick up a good back-up/weak starting-caliber SF if he were to walk.

Looks good, fills holes for GS and Wright can probably help the Blazers

Portland and GSW seems to come to terms with each other on trades a lot.

Anyway, I love it. Smith will probably get lost with Lillard here and us seeking a vet PG. If Batum is gone for nothing, at least this gives a decent SF for now (and possibly the future?).
Dammit...:

I've got Nurkic fever now.

Wright would be a nice quick fix for the Blazers at SF in the short term. Frankly I'd rather find an SF like Wright and let Batum take his exhorbant contract to Minnesota rather than PDX. So yes I'd do it if GS does.
