Philly Reloads: CLE/WAS/POR

Post#1 » by RoyalWun » Fri Dec 20, 2013 4:04 am

Sixers Outgoing: Spencer Hawes + Thaddeus Young + Evan Turner + Arnett Moultrie + James Anderson
Sixers Incoming: Otto Porter + Dion Waiters + Thomas Robinson + Jan Vesely + Alonzo Gee + Meyers Leonard

MCW, Wroten, Brown
Waiters, Williams, Richardson
Porter, Gee, Thompson
Robinson, Allen, Vesely
Leonard, Orton, Noel

Gets an extremely young bunch of players to help their tank+rebuild.

Cavs in: Evan Turner + Min Player from WAS
Get their SF they've been looking for for a disgruntled Waiters.

Wizards in: Thad Young + James Anderson
Get a good piece to help them win.

Blazers in: Spencer Hawes + Arnett Moultrie
Possible rental of Hawes but helps their bench immensely.
Dammit...:

I've got Nurkic fever now.

Fascinating new trade idea! Dion Waiters isn't unhappy in Cleveland. Stop regurgitating ESPN garbage.

Not sure I like the back-court of MCW and Waiters for Philly. Only one ball...

Turner would have some of the same problems as Waiters in Cleveland (need ball in hand). Plus, who plays SG for them?

Love it for Washington. I don't think Young has great value considering his contract, but Porter is disappointing and with Ariza/Webster playing well, Young would help their front-court. I don't see them adding much value, but the fit looks good.

Love it for Portland, although another team might offer Philly more for him (not sure who though, he is playing well but also is an expiring contract). I could see OKC offering a slightly better tank offer, if Philly could swallow Perkins contract, and if Hawes had any say I am sure he would prefer to minutes, role and exposure he would get in OKC vs Portland.

Why are you bumping this? It is the same proposal that has been rejected 1,000 times only now Portland is getting something for nothing.

Cavs say no, and when did Turner become a small forward?

His rookie year, he started playing there. And with Iguodala gone he has played there almost entirely. He has teh size for the position, as well as rebounding and defense.

Cavs fans. Please stop bumping this thread. Let it go to the same place that all Waiters/Turner trade proposal go.

Because I posted 8 minutes after the OP. This forum isn't active enough to have topics disappear that quick. I get your point but your execution is off.

Oh, I understand you already. If you can't use the correct "there", why should we listen to anything you have to say?

Philly does not want/need Waiters, and apparently their fans do not want Turner.

How about sending Turner to Wash for Porter? Although I do not know why Wash. want to give up on Porter so early.

I don't see the Blazers giving up T-Rob and Leonard for a half-year rental.

Dion has done nothing but pick the level of his play up since the trade rumors started circulating. He is averaging 15ppg on 43% shooting from the floor and 40% shooting from 3. He has improved his FG% from the floor by about 6% over the last month alone.

It is time to stop the Waiters trade talks unless Cleveland is getting a legitimate piece in return.

I get the joke but there is a difference between not unhappy and happy.
