Urg. Because of his contract, I don't want to vote Kevin Love and be called a homer, so I've spent the last 12 hours trying to come up with someone else. I don't trust Curry, Harden is not what I hoped either. I wanted to say Dwight because of position scarcity, but Texas Chuck kind of talked me out of that.
Love's numbers are ridiculous. He's #2 in the NBA in scoring, and #1 in rebounds. He's #3 in FT's, so he puts opponents in foul trouble. He's #9 in three-pointers at 38.3%, stretching defenses .. and still gets the boards?!? He's also greatly improved his passing - he's #34 in assists at 4.3 APG. And for me, it's important that he's not a fluke. His numbers this season (26.5 PPG, 13.7 RPG) and similar to his numbers two years ago (26.0 PPG, 13.3 RPG) -- but this year he's improved all his percentages, does it in less minutes (sits blow-outs), and doubled his assists!
If there was an auction today among the remaining players, I think Love would get the highest bid, so I'm going to say ..
VOTE: Love
NOMINATE: Drummond
