Vote Stephen Curry

Nominate LMA

Curry is potential future MVP who's still young and has a crazy contract.

LMA is a complete PF and has broken through to franchise status

V: only 2 choices here imo: Love and Curry. Im giving Curry the nod simply due to a much more favorable contract situation plus the idea(true or not) that Love only wants the West Coast.

N: Andre Drummond. He's 20, still has tons of rookie contract left, and is a legit defensive anchor in hte making.

I think Dwight has a lot of strong arguments over Love. Either way:

V: Curry (I think Paul is the guy on this list most likely to plummet. But Curry is next. I'm iffy on his ankles and defense.

N: LMA. Hving a break out season. Short contract is a minus, and I would be willing to bet I missed a better choice, but I take LMA over Drummond.

Also, can we go ahead and start kicking some of the nominees off? No way Rose belongs anywhere in the top 25 and Im not sure Melo does either considering his contract and the fact we know he would only resign with a couple franchises at the most.

IDK. He left 2 franchises in shambles. He hasnt been the difference maker everyone expected in Houston either. Now he is locked into his contract which is a plus since he's clearly worth it and he is still the best center in the league.

But what Love is doing is just stupid this year. His team isnt any good, but only Martin and Pek are even quality starters on that team and their bench is an absolute joke. I think if Love had any help at all this wouldnt even be a question and this coming from a guy who thought he was quite overrated.

The fact that John Wall hasn't even been mentioned yet is criminal. I'm not saying he's one of the top 6 BEST players, but he is definitely in the conversation for most valuable. The guy is everything to the Wizards. He is single-handedly carrying that team. Webster, Beal and Ariza's entire game is completely dependent on Wall setting them up.

Wall is currently 3rd in the league in on/off differential at +25.5. (Behind Love at +26.8 and George at +26.1) Nobody else is really close. Hibbert comes in at +16.7 and Curry at +15.9. Everyone else is well below that.

Vote - Kevin Love
Nominate - John Wall

Urg. Because of his contract, I don't want to vote Kevin Love and be called a homer, so I've spent the last 12 hours trying to come up with someone else. I don't trust Curry, Harden is not what I hoped either. I wanted to say Dwight because of position scarcity, but Texas Chuck kind of talked me out of that.

Love's numbers are ridiculous. He's #2 in the NBA in scoring, and #1 in rebounds. He's #3 in FT's, so he puts opponents in foul trouble. He's #9 in three-pointers at 38.3%, stretching defenses .. and still gets the boards?!? He's also greatly improved his passing - he's #34 in assists at 4.3 APG. And for me, it's important that he's not a fluke. His numbers this season (26.5 PPG, 13.7 RPG) and similar to his numbers two years ago (26.0 PPG, 13.3 RPG) -- but this year he's improved all his percentages, does it in less minutes (sits blow-outs), and doubled his assists!

If there was an auction today among the remaining players, I think Love would get the highest bid, so I'm going to say ..

VOTE: Love
NOMINATE: Drummond

yeah he definitely deserves mention. I admit I forget about him a lot, but he makes a huge difference for the Wizards. Their winning percentage with and without him should make crystal clear his value.
