Time for Spencer Hawes to be getting some love. Still pretty young and a quality big.

I think PP has a solid 2 years left on him and would be an excellent fit for a contender for the MLE.

Even with his terrible start, he's putting up...

13.6 ppg
4.7 rpg
2.4 apg
45% FG (49% post ASG)
39% 3FG (43% post ASG)
84% FT
16.75 PER

in 28 mpg

The unofficial leader of the Nets.
His competitive drive and experience is off the charts.

Would he sign for the MLE?

I think the Nets will give him more than the MLE because they can, but I don't think anyone else would offer him more than the MLE. If he doesn't stay in BK, I could see him signing with LAC for the MLE.

Toronto Raptors or any other team lacking a really good backup C that isn't undersized and is quite tough should start considering Artsiom Parakoushi who's played in europe now for few years. He was intriquing prospect in NBA summer league after he went undrafted. I believe now he's improved so much that he can be a good backup C in the league.

As for backup PG Malcolm Delaney will get a lot of offers during the summer from NBA teams, Rockets wanted to sign him this season

I nominate Marvin Williams whom I hope my Blazers pick up with the MLE.

Missing from the list:

    Emeka Okafor
    Trevor Ariza
    Nick Young
    Jordan Hill
    Ray Allen

Okafor has a career average of 12/10/2, and he's still only just 31 yrs old. Assuming there are no complications to his injury, he should get a decent contract this summer.

Trevor Ariza, Nick Young, and Jordan Hill are having the best seasons of their careers. Better than some of the guys remaining on the list, and they're only in their 20s too.

Ray Allen is a ring-chaser and a mercenary. If the Heat's season ends on a sour note, it's not impossible for someone like him to latch on with next season's title favorites. For example, if Melo joins Houston I can see Ray Allen taking a Room MLE to chase rings in Houston with Melo, Harden, and Dwight.

Ariza was #10

I'll add some of those guys along with Marvin Williams to the next poll.
Jordan Hill in particular is a good call IMO.

I would love it if the Mavs were able dump Calderon for cap space and sign All 3 Monroe / Lowry / Ariza or Deng to go with Dirk / Ellis / And the Dallas Bench

Ed Davis doesn't belong as high as 14. The Grizzlies didn't even play him with Randolph suspended. He's overrated in this thread.

I think Memphis is trying to hide him and sign him cheap.

Agreed, Stephenson is a good player but he's a jack of all trades master of none kind of guy. Proven bigs and points should be valued over decent wings like Stephenson. The Bobcat/Hornet board is enamored with him though and really wants us to go after him. He's a better player than Gerald Henderson, but I have doubts he'd be able to play within the team if Charlotte ended up signing him. So I'd rather they look elsewhere to improve our wing rotation.

In what universe is Evan Turner a better anything than Patty Mills?

Jordan Hill, plays like a big man, rebounds. Solid player.

That's harder to get than a gunner off the bench.

I'm bored so I'm gonna make my predictions on where they go.

THE LIST

1. Eric Bledsoe Phoenix
2. Lance Stephenson Charlotte (upset!)
3. Greg Monroe Detroit- but not confident about this
4. Gordon Hayward Utah
5. Kyle Lowry Houston
6. Luol Deng Dallas
7. Marcin Gortat Washington or Dallas
8. Isiah Thomas Detroit (PLEASE)- actually makes bball sense too lol
9. Pau Gasol Memphis
10. Trevor Ariza Cleveland
11. Spencer Hawes Cleveland
12. Avery Bradley Atlanta
13. Paul Pierce LAC
14. Ed Davis[/quote] Milwaukee

And re: the actually topic... this is tough because different teams rank needs differently. I actually voted for Marion because I think he can have a big impact on more teams, but Mills could end up being huge on one team. I actually think Turner's value has plummeted. Then again, if Indy loses Stephenson- there's no way they can lose Turner too.
