Well done bro
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Great post, but I think you should add under the links, projected cap space and who's over the lux. Than it would be a great link for the T&T boards IMO.

Mods should sticky this.

Smitty731 wrote:A bunch have asked for this, and I finally had the chance to get around to putting the links in one post. Some asked for a sticky for this, but I don't know how that works, or if it is even worthy. I'll let the Mods decide that one! Full disclosure, each one has not been updated with the correct draft picks cap holds since the lottery. I'll do an edit on the individual posts when I have a chance.

Will you update it throughout the offseason/draft? This could really be something good for years to come.

I'm happy to try and update as much as I can. The thing with that is that everyone needs to understand that initially it will be estimates as new deals are signed. Without exact details, it gets a little tricky. But, as a community, I think we can come up with some really good estimates of what the deals look like. If everyone gives input, I'm happy to keep updating and go from there.

In addition, as I hope this turns in to a community project, I'm changing the title to remove "My". I think this will become something that belongs to all of us over time! :D

Yeah this seems like something that needs to be redone at the start of each offseason. Our team needs trade block sticky should hopefully have the few teams that carry cap space mid season listed. And come next offseason, between trades, expected and unexpected player development, and the effects of this offseason, we are most likely to need a whole new set starting close to scratch.

But if you are looking for a good project, the first post could also list the teams in descending order showing the real cap space they have this offseason? And again, great work!

I've spent a good chunk of the weekend reading the CBA FAQ (hey I'm an NBA nerd ok? at least you guys understand! :D ), and I'm going to do some updates to the "Real" space series. I'm going to add in a Tax item as well. I hope this will give a good full picture of where every team stands going in to the offseason. I'm going to edit the first post on each individual team's page, with updated information (inclusive of updated contract details, new draft pick cap holds post lottery, and new information on who has said they are opting in and opting out). I'll edit the first post to add in where each team stands in respect to the cap and tax as well. And, at HartfordWhalers' request I will add in on the first post a list of who has the most space to least space.

I'm going to ask a favor that as fans of individual teams hear about decisions players and teams are making on options and non-guaranteed contacts, that you let me know. You can post it on that team's thread in the series. Same goes for confirmed signings and contract details as we get in to the offseason.

Any other suggestions? Thanks for all the feedback. This is some work, but I love doing it. Seeing that most of you appreciate it makes it all worthwhile!

Thanks for the feedback all! For a quick update, I'm working on re-setting everything now. I'm hoping to have it done by this weekend and be able to put out updates for every team by the end of the weekend. If not, it will be early next week. I had to figure out how to code a couple of pieces in to the salary sheet I use, so I can make it more plug and play. As a part of that, I decided to update my own version of the Trade Machine that I built. I built my own, so I'm not stuck using this year's salaries until they are changed over by the various sites. If anyone ever wants a copy or to see it, please send me a message with your email and I'm happy to share it.

I have updated everything and taken in the feedback I've been getting. Both on display of the information, as well as about what is going on with teams. I'll start the individual team write ups in the morning. I hope to have all of them complete by mid-week. Thanks to all for you feedback and support. It is much appreciated!

Updated Chicago's numbers on OP due to a miscalculation on one of their rookie scale picks.

Updated OP (and individual team threads) on 6/6 to fix a few formatting issues and to fix Current and Projected "Real" Cap Space. I updated with the removal of Exceptions from teams that under the Cap.

Updated OP as of 6/23. Updated some teams for Room MLE updates, as well as NY with Carmelo Anthony exercising his ETO. They are no longer a luxury tax team! Also, updated Phoenix to reflect Beasley having been stretched vs. a straight buy out.
