I also agree that Rondo is a horrible fit for the triangle. But, as stated before, NY does have interest. We've heard it a lot.
Also, I heard the other day that the Knicks may not be committed to the triangle. Jackson himself has even stated that the triangle may not be a fit for the NBA now. The Lakers didn't even solely run it when he was there last. So, maybe that explains the interest.
I really think where there is smoke, there is fire. There is definitely smoke here. As a Celtics fan and a Rondo fan, I don't want him in NY. I'd rather see him somewhere else that offers him a quicker chance at contention. I guess we'll see what happens. Maybe the Celtics can still figure out a way to make the team decent enough to convince him to stick around.
