Heat-Pistons-Suns-Jazz

Post#1 » by Mykhyn » Fri Nov 27, 2015 3:04 pm

Heat- Deng+ 2018 2nd for TJ Warren

Pistons- Ilyasova + Jennings + 2016 1st + 2016 2nd for Deng + Markieff Morris

Suns- Markieff Morris + TJ Warren for Illyasova + Booker + 2016 Pistons 1st + 2nd + Heat 2018 2nd

Jazz- Booker for Jennings

Heat- Get 2.5mil under the tax. This promotes Winslow to starter and then they get a backup for Winslow in Warren

Pistons get the 2nd bash bro and get Deng to help the depth.

Suns get a decent replacement for Morris and a trio of picks. Lets them move on from Morris

Jazz take a flier on Jennings for just adding a little salary.

You can't get Warren for Deng.

Even with this limitations Jennings is worth more than Booker.

Take out Warren, Booker and the 2nd rounders and the Suns might do this.

The Pistons take this faxed offer and use it for toilet paper when they drop their next deuce.

This can't be serious for the Heat.

Detroit needs guys who can make the three at a high rate. Neither Deng or Morris can do that and they're giving up a first with two guys who can?

Utah trades Devin Booker for Brandon Jennings?

Utah says no 365 days a year.

Value is clearly there for Utah, but I want no part of Brandon Jennings.

I'm OK with this for Miami, more because I have faith in Gerald Green, Tyler Johnson, and Justise Winslow than because of TJ Warren. Not an awful trade but I've seen better...

This is awful for Detroit. That's probably a no even without the picks, and I'm highly skeptical of how effective Jennings will be when he returns.

I get where you're coming from: the on-court value is a pretty uninspiring return, but it gets us under the tax line & helps reset the repeater tax, while cashing in Deng (who likely won't be back unless he takes a big discount) for a player who has some value.
I agree with your sentiment: not the best, but something that I could live with.
I think Heat fans who only care about winning will have a hard time with this though, unless they are super-high on Warren.

So, Suns trade their best young player (TJ Warren, a lottery pick last year) alongside Markieff Morris because? Absolutely no from the Suns` side.

Heat fans are acting as if they would make a favour accepting the trade, but Warren is basically doing the same things which Deng does, only he is healthier, 8 years younger and has a cheap long-term contract.

In other words there is no way that the Heat can get Warren for Deng straight-up.

I know you like Warren and all, but he's not close to the defender that Deng is. You know, the other side of the court? I know you like your youngster. I get it. But we like our defense and we win with it. I'd do it for the savings and to give Winslow or Green the starting nod, but I don't have to love it just because you think I should...

Booker is the heart and soul of our team, I don't think he is going anywhere for any reason. I'd do Trey for Jennings. Really unappealing for the Suns.
