Bogut was easy to get because of very unique circumstances. All of the guys you mentioned were very expensive and are now signed. Besides Noel, who is the best rim protector available in FA this summer?

If we're including RFA's per Noel, Gobert or Adams. Ibaka and Bogut. Maybe Len if he continues to develop. Sure, the other RFA's are almost certainly going to be matched, but so would anyone who trades for Noel. Who are the high end off guards next year? You've got a couple old guys that might have something left in the tank (Redick, Iggy), some RFA's who aren't going anywhere (Dipo, KCP).. And Tyreke Evans? If people trust his health?

I maintain it's easier right now to have enough good bigs than it is wings.

So Len is still developing but Noel, same age, far ahead of Len is not??

No. Noel is already pretty good. Len might become good.

I take Noel over Lavine quite easily.

Noel is a skinnyass twig. I can't imagine him guarding a good low post scorer who has 50-60 lbs advantage in a 7 game series.

Noel is a luxury for the Wolves while Lavine is a need. They have an alpha C in KAT so any other C only guy will always be expendable for a hole that needs filling. Now if you could work a deal around Dieng and a protected first (1-7 and 15-30) for Noel that might suit Minny.

Noel has a higher floor but a lower ceiling, especially on the Wolves. I still hesitate to say Lavine's floor is Jamal Crawford, but I think peeps might also think he is a slacker because he looks casual, a bit like T-Mac did.
