Does anyone know at what point 2024 draft picks can be traded?

The CBA says teams can trade picks six seasons into the future. Right now teams can only trade picks as far ahead as the 2023 draft.

At some point, that moves ahead and teams will be allowed to trade picks in the 2024 draft.

Does that happen as soon as the 2017 playoffs end before the 2017 draft?

Does it happen on July 1, 2017?

Does that happen after the July moratorium this summer?

Does it happen at the beginning of the 2017-18 season?

Does that happen at the end of the 2017 calendar year?

Does anyone know?

July 1st is when the season rolls over. So, you cannot until then in that area between the draft and then.

on July 1st Nets will have 2020, 2022, and 2024 available for trade... is there something brewing. Melo and Noah?
