What's your best offer for Eric Bledsoe?

Post#1 » by FNQ » Tue Jun 6, 2017 5:08 pm

Disclaimer: He may or may not be on the block and Suns fans may or may not want to deal him. I think he's a curious value case and I'd like to see what teams will offer.

I cannot speak for what the Suns want, but I think that if they are trading Bledsoe, that means Fox is going 4th (if not Ball) and they would be targeting SFs and Cs primarily. What's out there?

Favors + best first rounder you want + maybe a second... maybe add Burks if you want him, or not if you don't.

I think if the Suns take back a bad contract for Bledsoe, it wont be at guard. That role is taken by Brandon Knight

#8, Kuz, Lance, and O'Quinn. IIRC, Phoenix was interested in Kuz at the deadline. If Phoenix nabs either Fox or Ball at #4, I like this move a lot for them. I like it even more for Phoenix if they get one of Ball/ Fox at #4, then one of Isaac, Tatum, or Jackson falls to #8. Maybe work in a third team like Portland or Utah to send a late first for O'Quinn (send the first to Phoenix).

I don't think Phoenix trades Bledsoe before or during the draft unless they are full set on taking one of Fox/ Ball (and there's a decent chance both are taken in the top 3). I think it's more likely that Phoenix wants to see how free agency plays out, because they can probably get really good value for Bledsoe once teams lose out on their top FA prospects or have a major player walk.

Wow I really like this for both sides. Although, I think it's something Utah only pushes for if Hill leaves.

Depending on those ?s that would incredibly solid for PHX, IMO. Imagine taking Fox at 4, and swinging this kind of deal:

Fox - Booker - Middleton - Chriss - Bender (for now, until a more appealing C option comes into play)

That's a really solid team geared towards the future

#3 for #32, Bledsoe and Warren, and Miami #1 in 2018 (might have to be lower of Miami/PHX 1st in 2018).

With this deal, PHX can take Jackson and Fox to pair around Booker.
Philly adds a stud scoring pg and a solid sf.

The point is to do it now, when the Jazz have the capspace so they wouldn't be dependent on Hill and so they would be able to go to Hayward with a PG in hand for next season. It would mean they are giving up on Hill indeed, though.

I think Bledsoe holds a decent amount of more value than Favors right now. He's also not a expiring like Favs.

Yeah, that's why my offer will include a first of their choice and a second and possibly Burks(if they want him) in addition to Favors.

I don't think Suns need another big. Unless they are convinced Len is gone. But they have Chandler and need minutes for Bender and Chriss.

I think a 3rd team is needed. Send Favors + 24 from Jazz to third team for highest pick that would get Suns.

What about 7 from Wolves? Suns could throw in Heat 1st owed too.

To Suns: 7 + Burks if they want him

To Jazz: Bledsoe + Bjelica or Hill-pure cap

To Wolves: Favors + 24 + Heat 2018 1st

Tweak value to your liking.

Sounds good.

Suns draft ahead of Knicks and Mavs their GOF at 7.

Wolves draft a PF at 24 to sit and learn (what Thibs does to all rookies anyway) behind Favors just in case he walks.

I like the Favors, but a pick will need to come back to Suns.

It means Len is let go and Favors becomes the main center post Chandler.

To Philly: Bledsoe + #7

To Wolves: Chriss

To Suns: #3 + Homes

Filler thrown around, I think light for Wolves.

Philly gets two guards, Bledsoe and guard at 7.

Wolves basically do 7 for Cnriss.

Suns get Jackson at 3 + their choice in GOF at 4.
