Boston’s is funny as they have a clear top 6 guys with a bigger drop after that but no one is quite sure who is or isn’t starting. Debate was between White vs Horford and then Holiday started on the bench the last preseason game so that didn’t make it more clear lol.

Plus half the bench is new and it’s not super clear what the pecking order is.

All that said it’s in these tiers:
Holiday/White/Brown/Tatum/Horford/Porzingis
Pritchard/Hauser/Brissett/Kornet seems like the next tier of bench guys, with Pritch looking like the lead guy there
Banton/Svi M./Walsh/Stevens/Gabriel look like the next tier of bench guys, with Banton/Svi and to a lesser degree Stevens so far looking like the biggest threats to break into the second tier if opportunity presents.

Booker, Beal and Gordon are going to get the bulk of the guard minutes. Damion Lee/Goodwin and Eubanks/Metu are will compete for minutes. However, the most interesting depth chart question all season is going to be the forward rotation

Who starts next to Durant and Ayton in front court is the big question. Okogie is a plus POA defender and that’s probably the most important need from a fifth starter but his shooting is streaky. KD/KBD/Ayton creates an intriguing big lineup for certain matchups. Watanabe may turn out to be the best fit of the three as a decent defender and good shooter.

Suns got wildly deep with the Ayton trade. Nurk offers a different skill set and playmaking ability that wasn’t a part of Aytons game. Allen is another shooter with playoff experience.

There is going to be a lot of competition for playing time. I think they will have the depth and rotation to manage the regular season with the games KD, Beal and Booker will inevitably miss. Defense and health are the question marks. If they are healthy in May and June and can be a top 10ish defense sky is the limit.

Comments:
- Scottie at PG? Well, sorta. He's fantastic leading the break, but the half-court O is bad. There's hope they learn the new system and get better, but being the 22nd rated O looks like an absolute best case
- The D looks good, with the potential to be great (top 5?) even without Koloko anchoring bench minutes at C
- Boucher sat the first game before the new Head Coach (Darko) figured out that, despite his flaws, he consistently brings needed energy, hustle and D off the bench to go along with a few low-IQ bonehead plays
- Fan base is already ready to buy Flynn a one-way ticket to China, even though for a 3rd year in a row the bench minutes are dicey at best because of a lack of PG play
- Dick looks promising as a shooter/cutter with some ball handling; decent floor game for a rookie; still looks like a High School kid and it will be a year or two before he has the physique of a real NBA player
