Booker/Murray

Post#1 » by pipfan » Sat Apr 27, 2024 3:00 pm

Atl sends Murray/Hunter/#10 to ATL for Booker (maybe throw in the Sac 1st as well)
Suns swap Booker for Murray and Hunter

Suns get 2 starters for one. If Hunter is healthy, their lineup of Murray/Beal/Hunter/KD/Nurkic looks nice. #10 pick could really help with depth

Hawks go for hyper-offensive backcourt of Young/Booker. They hope Capela and Johnson can play enough D to make it work

Too much salary incoming. They can't realistically match Hunter due to 2nd apron

Value wise was the question. $ can be figured out.

it can't be figured out. they cant aggregate and cant accept more than 100%. Only remaining matching salary is Beal for Hunter, which we know is not happening

Money can’t actually be figured out though, so might as well not figure out the value in that part though.

You can have Atlanta pay for the Booker/Trae swap in different ways but Hunter would need one of KD or Beal to be traded.

Godaddy said all that my bad…

But I think Atlanta should pay for the swap if it was actually available. I don’t see Phoenix considering it.

Salary can’t be sent out with Booker?

yup, you cannot aggregate salary in 2nd apron.

Ouch. Harsh penalty.

So take Hunter out. The point is a Trae for Booker swap.

I think Booker for young is really interesting.

Is Phoenix really going to trade Booker though?

I just don't like Young in Ph-I think Murray/Hunter is a better fit. If Hunter becomes a solid player and is healthy, this helps them a ton to balance their lineup
