What’s everyone best offer for Domas? We’re gonna be a bottom 4 team by January and the tank should commence… preferably young guys and picks

I like Sabonis alot, but we are stacked at bigs. We can use a premiere point guard.

Happy to facilitate if any opportunities materialize.

Maybe talk to the Bulls and see if you can get some future picks for him. Sabonis will fit right in with Chicago. He doesn't really add sufficient value to a contender, and certainly not at that price.

Well I'll offer the same offer I'm offering everyone else lol

Reaves, Rui, Maxi, Gabe and I guess you'll want draft capital? FRP and maybe 2-3 pick swaps?

Is Sabonis a good fit with Luka though? Honestly rather get Kessler and Thybulle and I like Sabonis a lot.

I think this is the right move for both. Whatever salary + a couple picks. Get it done

Not bad, the trade works, so there is that:). I'd be ok with that.

Sabonis/AD/Cooper/Christie/Kyrie with a short bench rotation of PJ, Naji, DLO, and vet mins?

Is keeping Sabonis paired with one of AD or PJ enough to make the defense work?

Sort of feels like that group is a contender if we are saying Cooper is ROTY two way useful piece..

Do not see Sac trading Sabonis. But I do think that Dallas group would work really well for 2-3 years.

Sabonis + Monk + Carter + Ellis
x
Henderson + Clingan + Murray + Grant + RWIII + FRP

Portland
accelerate the upgrade of the team

Carter(Lillard)_Monk_Ellis_Hansen_Reath

Sacramento
after 15december trade DDR and Schroeder
and then refresh the team and build around Henderson, Clingan, Murray, Clifford. Add unprotected FRP. Lavine and JeramiGrant on the market in february or next summer

Yeah Boston needs to send a second or two to shave 8.7 million.

Maybe.

But how much is Sabonis an upgrade over Tobias? Well, Pistons are already spending Ivey and a 1st for that upgrade. Which might be a bridge too far already.

No thanks from detroit. His pairing with Ausar and Duren is just not going to work, so that leaves us blowing up the whole team. If we are upgrading from Tobias, we really need someone with a similar skillset , just at a higher level.

from Pistons point of view:
Sabonis is a good player if you play with him as a playmaker (or however as a central point of you offense)
If you see this role for DM near CadeCunningham the trade have sense for Detroit, otherwise not
If you think that about DM's role in Detroit, the upgrade over Tobias is great

from Kings point of view:
Ivey is a young version of Monk, it could be un upgrade, but it request a contract next summer that will be greater than the one of Monk. It can become a problem if the Kings doesn't trade Lavine or DDR
Tobias hasn't sense in Sacramento
Stewart is ok
However the trade is a downgrade for Sacto, both for the 2025-26 season, both for the next recostruction
Wich is the biggest reason to do this trade for the Kings?
