SEA-ORL
Thomas, Watson and Wilkins for Arroyo, Garrity, Dooling and Redick (Trade ID #4390611)
SEA sheds salary and unclogs the long-term roster clog at PG.
Ridnour, Durant, Green, Wilcox, Collison
West, Redick, Szcerbiak, Sene, Petro
ORL gets quality depth exactly where they need, to brace themselves for a deep post-season run.
Nelson, Wilkins, Lewis, Turkoglu, Howard
Watson, Bogans, Evans, Thomas, Foyle

Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

BTW: What has happened to Redick and why doesn't he play all that much?
He doesn't fit into SVG's system, mainly because he cannot play defense at all.
From Magic standpoint I'd do that deal. Watson would be a nice fit for us, and would make us not miss Arroyo/Dooling. Thomas would provide frontcourt depth.

.
Which would be a problem with us as well, as Presti wants to build a team with a defensive identity and Carlesimo is a defensive minded coach.
Though, maybe they believe that Redick could fill out the role Wally Z is playing right now for us, which means instant offense and longe range shooting off the bench.

Sad, considering all we do is shoot threes.

Decent idea. Generally, it's in alignment with both teams long term plans. That K Thomas is an expiring may be good for Orlando as T Battie returns from injury next year. I think this trade, or a simpler version (K Thomas & E Watson for P Garrity, K Dooling & C Arroyo), is definately possible by the deadline. However, if the Sonics are able to trade K Thomas to the Lakers for a K Brown & a swap of picks (their late 1st for our early 2nd) I think they'd do that instead.

it's definitely a logical deal for both sides. I have always thought that Kurt Thomas + bad contract for expirings is the best deal the Sonics can get.
On Orlando's side, they get veteran help at the backcourt and up front. The fact that KT expires this season is even better as they'll get Battie back next season
