Cleveland, Memphis, LA Clippers

Post#1 » by shagadelic45 » Wed Jan 14, 2009 7:39 pm

CLE TRADES: Wally Szczerbiak, Eric Snow, #1

CLE RECEIVES: Shawn Marion, Marko Jaric

Marion give Cleveland another all-star to jump to the top, while Jaric's deal is 2 more years, he is a decent role player and can play the 1-3, provide good defense and hit the jumper, all while not needing the ball.....a perfect compliment to the scoring heavy Cavs.

MEM TRADES: Darko Milicic, Marko Jaric

MEM RECEIVES: Zach Randolph, #1 (CLE)

The Grizz get their PF upgrade and the 1st they were holding out for during the summer.

LAC TRADES: Chris Kaman, Zach Randolph

LAC RECEIVES: Udonsi Haslem, Darko Milicic, Eric Snow

The CLippers make a move to free some cap, as Sterling's (or Dunleavy's) efforts this season have gone awry.

MIA TRADES: Shawn Marion, Udonis Haslem

MIA RECEIVES: Chris Kaman, Wally Szczerbiak

The Heat get their center and maintain cap flexibility with Wally's expiring deal.

As a Cavs fan I really don't want either Marion or Jaric. No way would I give up a first for them.

Marion would be okay, but there is no way we take Jaric...let-alone give out a draft pick to get him. However, since Miami is short on PG's and since the poster feels that Jaric is a good back-up... then Darko could go to the Cavs and Jaric can go to Miami. :D

No thanks Marion cant really hlep the cavs much since he is a sf/pf not a sg/sf which the cavs need.

Terrible for LAC. We love Zach and we're not trading him away.

Ya just don't see that "We love Zach" (Randolph?) very often.

I agree that this is a bad trade for LAC, but I disagree with most Clippers fans in saying that "We love Zach Randolph." Yeah he has put up good numbers, but he is a guy that will never win a championship or go far in the playoffs, because of his no defense, lazy mentality. Therefore, I would be for moving him for cap relief if it was possible.
