Marion will not be going back to the Suns, re-route him to a contender for other expirings IMO

Detroit

Iverson, Amir Johnson, Walter Hermann for Amare and J-Rich

does that work?

I would possibly do a Granger straight up for Amare... The talent is about equal this year... but I would not add anything to the deal...
But realistically, the Pacers have no chance of making a deal, simply based on financial reasons alone... As mentioned by Cable... With out including Dunleavy, Murphy, or Tinsley (of which PHX is not likely interested in) the Pacers would be well over the Tax threshold in just 8 players... If money were not an issue, and PHX would possibly be interested in this, then I would definately do this deal... But given that as well, I fully expect Chicago to end up with Amare...

you are insane my friend.. granger is a rising star.. amare is a malcontent with bad knees already at a young age, weak on d, and was made by nash and d'antoni..

Amare was made by Nash and D'Antoni? Funny, he won ROY and put up 20/9 before Nash and D'Antoni.

No. AI has little appeal to PHX, and they include J-Rich? With no picks being sent? No no no.

A Detroit deal would likely revolve around Sheed's expiring, Amir or Maxiell, possibly Prince, and picks/Sharpe/both.

Personally, I wouldn't move Prince for Amare (though I would move anyone else not named Stuckey or McDyess). Amare's not a good fit for Detroit. Now Bosh on the other hand...

yeah i knew it would have to be sweetened with picks. detroit does have alot of picks too.

I disagree about Amare fitting though. him and sheed compliment each other nicely from my view.

yea an inefficient 20 and 9 (47% shooting and he mostly scored on dunks, that is pathetic..)

d'antoni system/nash raised his fg% almost 10 pts

his TS% was 54, and he was putting up 20/9 as a 21 year old.

How many players can do that?

And yeah, Nash/D'Antoni made him more efficient, but how does that mean they MADE HIM AS A PLAYER, as you say?

Case closed? Hardly.

im not saying it wasnt impressive, but nash and d'antoni are the reason he was viewed as a monster..

you wanna bring in ts%? with nash and mike d, his ts % was 62%, 64%, 66% with an avg PER of around 26

it wasnt as good prior, and its not as good now

cmon i see what alot of you phx fans think of him.. hes still good, but nash and mike are the main reason for his stardom, even he knows it, dude wants to play in ny (hopefully it never happens)

wolves could offer to much

maybe
Kevin Love (young talent)
jason Collins (exp)
Mike Miller
1st round pick
i guess we could even put in cardianal and take another big contract back if there looking to rebuild in 2010
teams supporting
NBA-Minnesota t-wolves
NHL-Toronto Mapleleafs
NFL-Miami Dolphins
MLB-???
Others:Wests Tigers,Leeds United,Schalke,VVV,Sydney Kings,Tatsuma Ito

Why would the Wolves give up so much for 1.5 year rental player, who has told ESPN he wants to play for coach D'Antoni? [does not make much sense to me]

Well, it may be true for the Pacers a trade for Amare doesn't make sense due to financial reasons, but it's very very probable that there are more than a couple better offers for Amare than Nesterovic/Daniels/Rush/1st, it's not enough for Phoenix IMO.
