Tor / Uta / GS - could it work?

Post#1 » by w33dies » Mon Jun 1, 2009 2:16 am

Tor out: bosh banks (tor 3 mill) #9
Tor in: Jackson boozer #7

Utah out: AK47 Boozer
Utah in: crawford Maggette (tor 3 mill)

GS out: Crawford Maggette jackson #7
GS in: AK47 Banks Bosh #9

Why for toronto? They pair bargs up with a post up scorer who can rebound. i know he isnt the greatest defender but neither is bosh. they get jackson whom they can get to play the two guard. they dump banks while also moving up with their draft pick.

Bargs / POB
Boozer / Pops
Marion / #7 (derozon)
Jackson / parker?, delfino?
Calderon / ukic

Why for Utah? they get out of AK47's contract. boozer is gone which frees up playing time for millsap and gives him time to develop. they get back a quality small forward in maggette while also getting a great 6 man in crawford (hahahaha great is an over statement but i like him in that role)

Okur / koufus
Millsap / Harping
Maggette / miles
Brewer / Crawford
Williams / Crawford

Why for GS? they dump Crawford Maggette and jackson (i dont know how GS reacts losing all of them) . This gives playing time for their new younger wings. they get bosh, while keeping both elise and biedrins. they move down in draft but still in top 10. its a PG heavy draft so they could grab one of them of a SF.

Biedrins / Turiaf
Bosh / randolph
AK47 / Azu
Morrow / belineli
Elise / #9

I know a lot of People might have a problem with this, im just bored so i thought id give it a whirl. salaries + talent might be a little off if you know what could help let me know.

Biggest problem will be Utah (a big problem). They won't give up Boozer and AK for just Maggette and Crawford. Try doing some tweaking I suggest before you get blasted.

I don't think Toronto does it either. Boozer doesn't appreciate anything but money and Jackson's contract is a problem.

How about working with this? I didn't check the money (probably need to clean it up). Still may be too imbalanced for some. Warriors probably would be good with this the way it is (they would have been good it the way you originally proposed).

i think its in the right direction but toronto would have way too much salary. what if toronto kept the 9, the 7 goes to utah. maybe 3 mill to GS.

tor out: Bosh Banks 3 mill
Tor in: Jackson boozer

Utah out: Boozer Ak47
Utah in: Maggette Crawford #7

GS Out: Maggette Crawford Jackson #7
GS In: Bosh AK47 3 mill

Utah should get the number 9 pick not the Warriors
Toronto should get Brandan Wright and/or Marco

i just love that starting 5 for the raps.

Bargs
Boozer
Marion
jackson
Calderon

That team could do some serious damage. Boozer and Bargs compliment eachother perfectly offensively. Marion makes up for Bargs rebounding deficiencies. This makes calderon the 4th or 5th option which is where he is most efficient.

I think that Utah gets to keep the pick killa (they give up both Boozer and AK). I suggested giving them Wright (as a replacement for Boozer and AK). Maybe Belli goes to Toronto (or vice-versa). Utah could also throw Harpring in there to help make the money right if needed.

WTH? Even if Maggette (on his contract) and Crawford were to be considered as neutral value (as opposed to negative value which I believe is their true worth right now),

Jackson and 7# in a weak draft = Bosh and AK47 and 3 mil.?....

I don't think so.

i know its a little off but what can be shifted around to make it work. GS would have a core of biedrins bosh elise morrow, should they maybe toss a little towards utah? I know Toronto fans wont like it but theres no reason for them to hate it. Fixes their biggest hole at shooting guard while getting an all star PF back for bosh.

Bargs
Boozer
Marion
Jackson
Calderon

As a toronto fan you wouldnt wanna see this?

No from Toronto. Take out the 9th pick and maybe they consider.

It's a lot better than most of the trade proposals I have read for Bosh. Honestly, I have seen one that prosed Deng + filler for Bosh. :-? Utah needs to get more I suspect, but a Boozer/Jackson package is pretty decent value.

As suggested earlier, the Warriors could give Utah Brandan Wright (with Boozer and Kirilenko gone, they'll need another 4 to back up Milsap).
