Perhaps you missed all of the stories about how we are not interested in trading him, so to answer your question we don't expect anything for him because he isn't going to be traded

Interesting trade. I think Minny does get good value, GREAT value actually from Rubio. Kahn would again be an idiot if this were to be rejected.

Similarly, with Dejuan Blair in San Antonio, I don't see the need for Lee though and especially at the loss of Manu. They may do it, if they feel Chase can step in and that Manu's too old.

how can u say your not trading him when he's not willing to play there? with him being foreign he holds all the leverage(see fran vasquez) drafting 2 pgs was dumb, n rejecting an all star and dynamic young player would b even dumber. and as far as sg goes, with the addition of jefferson they can let manu go to upgrade their front ct

Don't think this works with Minne already owing the Clippers a future 1st.

Further, don't think it makes much sense for the T'Wolves. They do need a SG but:
a) Kahn has made it pretty clear the T'Wolves aren't trying to win now. It would seem a soon to be 32 year old SG goes against that
b) Ginobili's current contract expires next summer and there's 0 chance he reups with a Wolves team that's still a couple years away. To the T'Wolves he'd be more of an expiring contract than anything

Don't think Lee makes much sense in San Antonio. First off he'll cost a boat load. Second off he's a HUGE defensive liability. Third off, the age doesn't really jive. Duncan's 33 and Lee's 26. Why pay Lee big money for 5 or 6 years when Duncan's probably done in 2 or 3?

It seems the Knicks get WAY too sweet of a deal here. They end up getting a near certain lottery pick in a loaded draft AND a 19 year old stud PG for a guy who's a free agent (and could easily leave) and a good but not spectacular prospect. Personally, I'd say either of the 2 assets they get back (Rubio & the 1st rounder) EASILY eclipse the value of either asset they send out (Chandler/Lee). Sure they take back Cardinal but he's an expiring filler.

Manu is good but too old and starting to break down and Chandler is nothing special and Fran's situation and Rubio's are totally different .

Spurs don't really need to make this trade, they have Dejuan Blair and if they bring in another big man, it should be a center

Nice form though, I think you really have it down:

"Here's my offer, do you like it?"
"No."
"Well....you are dumb and your team is dumb! He doesnt want to play there anyway so you should just trade him for the first offer that comes along!"

It's hard to take someone serious when they write so poorly.

Minnesota has no interest in Manu, though. He's a good player, but for a contender, not a team like Minnesota. Minnesota isn't able to trade their 1st round pick until 2 years after our debt is paid to the Clippers.

New York is somehow able to turn Wilson Chandler into Rubio and a 1st? Yeah right...

Rubio has not said he doesn't want to play in Minnesota.

This is just a poorly formed idea and was full of fail from the start. You should be embarassed for wasting our time.

I tend to agree. Manu has more value to the Spurs than other teams. With the gift of Blair falling to them in the 2nd and keeping Manu, they'll probably have 1 last shot for a title this year.
