Raptors/Thunder: Small Deal

Post#1 » by Rapsobsessed7 » Mon Jun 29, 2009 6:38 am

Raptors Trade:
Kris Humphries $3,200,000
Roko Ukic $1,350,000
Nathan Jawai $736,420
= 5, 286, 420 X 1.25 + 100,000
= 6, 708, 025

Thunder Trade:
Earl Watson $6,600,000

Raptors get a backup PG that would compliment Jose well, also expires which lets us create room to resign Bosh/Bargnani and be under the NBA luxury tax.

Thunder get a rebounding big and some young players for watson, all contracts expire when Durant/Green are due for extensions.

Westbrook/Atkins/Ukic
Thabo/Weaver/Vaden
Durant/Wilkins
Green/White/Hump
Kristic/Collison/Mullens

Calderon/Watson/Banks
Derozan/Delfino
Hedo(S&T Marion)/Barnes
Bosh/Evans/Pops
Bargnani/Rasho/O'Byrant

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

I don't see the point of adding an extra year for a fourth at best string power forward.
