I was thinking something similar in my NOH financial destruction thread. except I included Chandler

Chandler,West,Posey,Watson(acquired from OKC for Paul in my thread)
for
JO/ Beasley

Chandler/Anthony
West/Haslem
Posey/Jones
Wade/Cook
Chalmers/Watson

To me that line up puts them in the top 4 in the east. What a battle royal that would be.

You would have to read the thread. Basically just a scenario IF the financial situation puts them in a situation where they have to. But also very likely if they make a deal like this that CP3 would then demand to be traded. He wants to win now not wait for a young player to develop.

Beasley for West is an interesting trade for both sides. Having to include Posey's bad contract for a productive expiring like Haslem is overkill.
