Cavs/Raptors

Post#1 » by darthkiller » Mon Dec 21, 2009 6:49 pm

Cavs trade:
anderson varejao
jj hickson
first round pick

raptors trade
andrea bargnani

Cavs get the stretch 4 they needed , who plays good individual defense. Lebron also finally gets to team up with a very good player who is younger than him.

raptors arent going anywhere with two offensive PF playing 4 and 5. They get a really good defensive center who doesnt need the ball often in varejao to play with Bosh. Hickson is also very good and have a lot of potential.

Take out Hickson and Cavs first and Cavs will think. Still don't see them doing it...

Z and a first for Bargs and Banks?

Bargs would be great next to Shaq and a great PF to put next to Andy in the next few seasons with Hickson off the bench.

C- Shaq, Andy
PF- Bargs, Hickson, Powe

Varejao is the one of the most overpaid starting PFs in the league. So is Bargs. But I also think that Varejao is garbage. AV + Powe + 2010 1st is fair.

You're wrong because 1) he's not a starter and 2) he's not overpaid and/or garbage.

Hint: His contributions go beyond the boxscore.

So what's the criteria for being able to judge a player by the boxscore and not judge a player by the boxscore?

AV has one of the highest +/- in the NBA. His hustle is unmatched and the only reason he isn't starting is to let Hickson run with the starters because he plays like a scared little girl when he plays with the bench bunch. If it were up to me I'd say AV is up there with Lebron and Mo as the only untouchables on the team.
