TOR - WAS

Post#1 » by Dr Octagon » Sun Jan 3, 2010 6:38 pm

Toronto Out:
- Jose Calderon
- Andrea Bargnani

Toronto In:
- Caron Butler
- Brendan Haywood

Why for Toronto? Beef up the interior by adding a banger and rebounder, and get a quality starting SG.

Washington Out:
- Brendan Haywood
- Caron Butler

Washington In:
- Andrea Bargnani
- Jose Calderon

Why for Washington? Get a quality starting PG, get a young improving PF with a reasonable contract.

Don't the Wizards have that Gilbert Arenas guy already? Why do they need another starting PG?

Calderon
Arenas
Miller
Bargnani
Jamison

That would be a worse defensive team than the Raptors.

Andrea Bargnani and Jose Calderon represent everything wrong with the current Wizards roster.
Talented offensive players, who leave much to the imagination on defense.

Wizards decline this deal EASILY.

Toronto would become really good after this with Haywood playing the defensive C role he is used to and Caron if he can play the 2 full time would be a fantastic pick up for Toronto.

Washington doesn't touch this because they would be a guard loaded team and a terrible defensive one.

:eek1:

I think we would be awesome in a 6'5" and under league (and still be defensively challenged). Wizards easily say no thanks.
