CHI/OKC (Tyrus Thomas)

Chicago trades:
Tyrus Thomas
Jannero Pargo

OKC trades:
Etan Thomas
2010 Phx 1st rounder

OKC gets to try out a prospect for half a year (who is probably better than anyone they could get with the PHX pick), and Chicago gets a 1st round pick for Thomas, rather than renouncing him for nothing at the end of the year. All contracts are expiring, so no harm to any 2010 plans. I'm assuming here that Pargo isn't really considered important by either team, and is just included to make salaries work. If Chicago considers him important though, Pargo could be subbed for Gray/Hunter.

I dont know if tyrus can be traded, he is expiring, but teams may feal like they would have to sign him, which they dont realy want.

I would do it as a bulls fan, but im just not sure that any team would trade for tyrus knowing he is expecting an extension, and probably more than he is worth.

Well OKC can try him out for a few months and see how he fits in their system. They certainly don't HAVE to sign him, but I think he could be a good piece for them going forward. Besides, Tyrus should realize his own worth by now...I mean teams aren't exactly lining up for him.

I like it... The pick would be a nice asset for a sign and trade.
