Washington/Portland

Post#1 » by tester551 » Sun Feb 7, 2010 6:24 am

A fairly simple trade:

Blatche & Oberto for Fernadez & Outlaw.

The main trade is Andray for Rudy, but Oberto & Outlaw had to be included to make the trade work.

Andray would be a great big to help solidify Portland's inside need, while Rudy should fit very nicely into Flip's system. Hopefully this swap would help both players maximize their potential.

I can't see Portland giving up Rudy for Blatche.

The Wiz are going to be short on bigs after Haywood and Jamison are probably traded, so this is a no from a Wizards' perspective IMO. Also want to add that Rudy has been pretty darn disappointing this year.

If you made it Stevenson instead of Oberto, then I'd do it. As is....no way.

I wouldn't want to do that trade just because Stevenson is a d-bag.

I can't get next to trading Rudy for Blatche. Blatche is still pretty young, but he's been in the NBA for 5 seasons now and the last 3 have all been depressingly similar.

Also, I really don't want to "throw in" Outlaw. He's coming back shortly and will provide the Blazers with the bench scoring they're struggling to produce without him. I am hoping to resign him this offseason, and I'd like to do it without using the MLE.
