Andris Biedrins

Post#1 » by radtech » Thu Mar 25, 2010 5:58 pm

With the possibility of Bosh leaving, is Andris a possible replacement? Jose Calderon and Andris' contracts match.

Baargs can move to power forward, Turk at small, and Andris at center. Biedrins is signed for 4 more years at 9 mil each. He runs the floor very well, has averaged a double-double, and is only 23 years old. Weakness is his strength, will get outmuscled since he is about 240 pounds and hsi free throw shooting this year is horrible.

Bosh can be S&T but for what? David Lee is a power forward who does not want to play center.
Bosh for Bynum and filler?
Bosh for Deng, Noah, and filler?
Bosh to the Rockets only if they find a 3rd team?

but what would GSW want Calderon, both their PG are better than him, I would argue that CJ Waton is better than Calderon at times.

lol why on earth would they trade pretty much their only C for an overpaid PG when they have a star rookie PG already.

Please when you propose a **** deal like that think of the other team and not just the Raptors.

Biedrins doesn't play defense at all.

A Turk/Bargs/Biedrins frontcourt would be the comedy trio of the decade.

Depending on how the offseason shakes out, I could see a Bargs for Beans deal happening. But Calderon for Beans is a non-starter.

Warriors probably aren't going to trade Biedrins now what with him being injured most of this season and playing poorly when he was healthy.

There no point selling at his lowest value, its better off for us to wait until he comes back and hope he gets back to where he was.
Catchall:The Bucks traded him for Monta Ellis and did well in that trade. If they can move Biedrins and Jefferson without losing much more than Barnes and another pick, I will be genuinely impressed.Iguodala is a short-sighted contract. Overrated player.

Biedrens has struggled this year on the offensive end, to say he doesn't play defense is inaccurate. Now a Bosh/Biedrens would work well IMO.
