I had green halos blurring my vision after that shot. It was like staring in to the sun.

Our vets are great. Love has been doing it his whole career, but that rebound and quick pivot to survey the option to pass and catch the defense lacking is pure joy. I just want to watch good basketball and Love brings it.

Need to get another veteran backup point guard that will cost nothing. Hampton is not ready to contribute.

Ideally, Lowry is the vet point who plays backup mins.

Need to get a vet point guard who plays starters minutes

I hope so. Its helping with his confidence. There's a huge difference in how he's playing now then start of the season when he was getting yanked to the bench for any mistake. The kid needs consistent minutes regardless if he screws up to get better. He's exactly what we need in that 4 position.

so they just said 3J has played the most 4th quarter minutes of any heat. i like that. the heat have something and they're giving him loads of experience

Most 4th quarter minutes of any player in the league.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

i wasn't expecting this. i'm excited. it says a lot about environment.
cronin doesn't get the elites, so he doesn't just roll the ball out on the court like some coaches who can pick and choose their recruits

What a terrible mistake from Cronin/Portland ownership. It's a shame what bitterness can do sometimes.

I remember not wanting to trade for Shaq either. I liked our guys a lot.

I was fairly neutral on Dame because of the same perspective. Its also good long term if the guys you draft in the teens turn in to productive players. Makes the picks more valuable and also potentially beefs the value of our draft selections.

Dame wouldn't have put us over the top if we would've had to gut the team to get him. He's on the brink of becoming Lowry 2.0: an aging vet who has about 2 good seasons left in him. I prefer to have the depth, versatility, and youth that we have.
