Yup, haven’t been watching as much. Team showing they don’t care about the reg season so no reason for me to waste 3hrs watching them suck.

The group of misfits playing out there look good though, give em a chance.

They played really well together last night. If not for some poor 3 pt shooting by us and hot shooting from them it woulda been a blowout.

These days you can play better than the other team the whole game but still have a close game because role players get hot from 3.

Time will tell though and if he’s in and out all year and hurt when the playoffs come around that label is sticking lol

The last 2 injuries were contact injuries. He was just unlucky, could have happened to anyone

Right but it didn’t lol it happened to a player on our team that is prone to timely injuries.

Read on Twitter

This is not normal production to expect from the best defensive player in the world. Locking up everyone defensively and snagging rebounds, getting the counting stats (steals/blocks) to make everyone happy as well but offensively he’s carrying the team with great scoring and elite playmaking from his position. He is the literal engine of the team.

He was top 20 last year. I think top 15 potentially borderline top 10 is what we’re going to see this year but there’s still plenty of time.

If we keep winning I'm starting to think we won't really look to trade Lowry for an upgrade at the PG position later in the season.

The only way we trade Lowry if were still top 3 in the league is if a star becomes available by that its another PG or SG that can play point guard role becomes available. If were here sitting top 3 in the East by the trade deadline, believe this FO will just let Lowry expire, and allow this team to have one last run with the group. I would expect a reset after this season with the group if it comes up short for sure. I think Pat Riley's comment explicitly incline this very much.

Bam is shooting 55% from 10-16 ft. Last year he was at 50% from that range.

He's also shooting 42% from 16-23ft.

Lights out.

In due time brother, theres still 2-3 more levels he can reach.

1. Playing with a good PG will increase efficiency and scoring.

2. Learn to draw even more fouls, when he gets guys in the air on pump fakes he misses a lot of opportunities to draw the foul like our GOAT used to do.

3. Get in the restricted area more, he settles a little too much when he almost always has a speed advantage.

4. Take 2-4 open 3s a game.

As for taking rebounds away, they did it in the Hawks game too

Advanced stats would suggest that Bam's 42% from 16-22 ft would be less efficient if he shot just 29% from three point range instead.

Per 100 possessions; 42% from 16-22ft = 84 points.
Per 100 possessions, 29% from 3pt range = 87 points.

Can Bam shoot 29% from three?

Agreed.

35% from three would make him almost as efficient as his shot 10-16 ft (which is currently 55%).

Per 100 possessions, 55% from 10-16ft = 110 points.
Per 100 possessions, 35% from 3pt range = 105 points.

Basing this on a hunch that this years trade deadline is gonna be extra CALIENTE for the Heat!
