Everyone on the roster but one player had an ORTG of 107 for the game, Herro's ORTG last night was 96 which was helped greatly by making a couple of shots late. Herro also had the highest DRTG for the team at 126 which was expected since he's a one way player.
2 bench guys Spoelstra needed to trust more in the 2nd half were...
D.Wright played 14 minutes in the 1st half, only 8 minutes in the 2nd half.
K.Love played 11 minutes in the 1st half, only 5 in the 2nd half.
I think Spoelstra had a very bad game coaching the team last night.
95% of people on here will completely ignore this or just flat out don’t understand it but lmao!!!! He is so fuxking bad man. So bad.

Will go full throttle for Donavan. Hopefully he forces his way here and Cavs do the right thing after seeing how the Blazers failed miserably playing hardball with Dame. Herro, the 15th pick, and 2029 first has to be a decent base of a starting package.
That’s not going to happen. They will gladly trade him to the Lakers before they trade him here. Has Herro even increased his trade value? Not blaming him but he shot what like 30% this game and overall has been injured this season.
Why aren’t you blaming him for shooting 30%? What has this guy done to get a pass from you all every step of the way? If Bam or healthy Jimmy were 9-27 in a 1 point loss last night everyone would be going ballistic

This team is so dumb and resilient that Bam, Jovic, Martin, Herro and Wright/Mills, Duncan(possibily) will all ball out and win. Micky wants playoff money especially with him paying the tax this year.

There is no point in arguing anymore with anybody about this, every metric from hell to high heaven says he is subpar at everything he does, and really bad a couple of things to include his ability to stay healthy which is also part of being a basketball player like one of the most important by being available. The only excuse at this very moment you will continue to hear from those still clinging to some delusion is if he doesn't take the shots who else will. The egg or the chicken dilemma you won't get clarity from those that are deadest on continuing to give him benefit of doubt. You see cause we can argue had he not taken so many damn shots and tried to run pick and roll and given the ball up instead of just spamming bricks after a Bam pick we might have given other guys the ability to try. We will never know if Bam could have hid a couple middies or gotten Embiid in foul trouble by shooting some freebies because the ball never went back out when it reached his hands.

You put Herro's mindset in Jovic's head and you probably have a good to great scorer. Jovic just happens to have the size and enough athletic ability where he could become a good scorer in the NBA but I don't think he has the mindset to do that.
He's been used as a spot up shooter/5th option the entire season and than add to that Bam leaving his rebounding area to stat pad instead of letting Jovic grab it and run which he should do everytime he can. If Jovic was allowed to handle/create as much as Herro/Martin/JJJ he would be cooking. Its fitting a Jovic type player cooked the Heat tonight.
So now Bam pads his stats according to the new Jovic Stan era we’re approaching.
Just trade Bam, it’s time. He does everything that’s asked of him by Spo with no complaints despite both him AND Pat wanting him to be more involved as a scorer in the offense but he will never be appreciated because small minded Heat fans don’t understand basketball if it isn’t PPG.
Send him to the Celtics with his boy and let him run the league for the next 8 years

Honestly you’re right, I’m done talking about it. At this point if you think Herro is a good winning player (there are several Herros in the league, like literally tons) then don’t even try to talk to me about basketball lol. The dude is pure ass.

With Butler out of the picture (not playing hurt) it'll be easier for Spoelstra to come up with good gameplan utilizing the other players on the roster but of course the ceiling of that situation is much lower than it is with Butler. I would like to see Spoelstra really empower Jovic and Jaquez Jr to see if they can rise to the occasion which would be a good peek into their future.
I guess the best road for Miami to take is to continue to try to win each year for the next couple of years and get the contracts lined up correctly to have the cap space to entice a max level player the summer when Butler's contract ends. Miami can keep Bam, Jaquez Jr on his rookie contract and put off Jovic with his low cap hold, it's probably Miami's best shot at getting a new high level player on the roster.

Indeed, it's insane that our two franchise players didn't want to be more aggressive on offense.
Also, you know 3ammy on some 3ull3hit when he starts with the 'brother' lmfao. Every time.
Even before Butler was hurt, Herro had the ball and was gunning, I get gunning when you're hot that particular game but he wasn't and instead of finding another way to get himself going he doubled down on taking shots. 27 of them and he missed 18 of those shots.
What's sad is that this was somewhat expected, in 2 games vs Philly this season he scored 22.5 points on 24 shot attempts, he only attempted 3 more than that average. He didn't play in any Chicago games so who know what'll happen. If Butler doesn't play, I could see him dropping 30 on 35 shots.
I don't think he was gunning in the sense of taking bad shots. Majority of them were good shots that I'm assuming the team WANTS him to take, he just had an off night. It would've been much worse if he went into a shell and stopped shooting. At least he had the balls to go out guns blazing.
He actually seemed to do a pretty good job of finding teammates as well, as evidenced by the 9 assists. You're making it seem like he was out there chucking awful shot after shot, in which case I'm sure he would've gotten benched.
Exactly this^, all of it!

The play in games have caused way more harm (Zion/Jimmy/Caruso all gone injured) than good to the NBA, teams needlessly playing extra games and players getting hurt. THey should be shortening the season and giving more rest between games but they're doing the opposite add the idiotic in season tournament it's a massive crap show atm. .

Get him to fans who understand basketball and a coach that won’t have him deferring to much worse players like Herro

Oh he was wide the fuxk open quite a bit thanks to Bams screens but you all want to give him a pass for shooting 9-27 in a 1 point loss when literally no other player would get that treatment. He was the main reason we lost last night followed by Oubre injuring Jimmy. Thats not even debatable.

Jimmy’s contract will be nearly impossible to move with 48 and a 52 player option, so i assume he stays until he becomes a giant expiring in 25/26.. but everyone else around bam and jimmy, they got to go.
It should have been over last season until we went on that fluke run. The optics would have been horrible to trade Jimmy then. Now it’s time, this fantasy that we’re ever going to win a title with this group has long sailed away. Jimmy and Bam are simply not going to compliment each others games as Jimmy heads into his twilight years
Jimmy’s not going anywhere. He really has no leverage to ask out at his advanced age and we won’t get much back in return due to his bloated salary. At most some expiring contracts with a few draft assets. We also owe a pick to OKC so it’s imperative that we are competitive next year.
As crazy as it sounds, we would literally need to attach picks and assets at this point to move Butler.. there arent many or any teams willingly to take on that massive contract..
