Carrying on from the last topic, HIF can you tell me how being a loser makes you a winner in sport if you don't actually win? Or is there more to your post than meets the eye.

No please, make it stop. Lets not bring in these endless arguments from the previous thread. To add to that, I'm no longer taking anyone serious who suggests Shaq, T-Mac, or AI one more freaking time. Stop that isht.

Well done.

lol That avy and sig combo is FIRRRRRRRRE!

I seen & talked my homey J-Hoops last night, and he said he's getting good vibes from the organization that he'll be back with the Heaters.

with Raja Bell going to Utah I figured we would take a harder look at him. Would be a nice move to add shooting and someone who is already familiar with our franchise, can only help with chemistry.

Told me he's still going to test the market, but he wants to stay home.

If JJ couldn't see court time with the team last season what makes anyone thing he would see the court on this dynasty team?

I get the feeling Hasbrouck makes the team somehow.

You still need depth, is like maybe he won't get minutes, but you want to have descent backups in case of injuries. So yes, he might play a limited role, but that doesn't mean that we should not plan in case their happens to be a injury bug. So yes, he might not play much if everyone is healthy, but when you are constructing a team, you have to plan for the worst, and hope for the best.

So yes, I would like to have James Jones back, just in case we need him.

Yes we do. The veteran minimum. So in essence, he would get two checks from us.

Keyon Dooling and Rasual Butler! Doubt they come for minimum, but anything could happen. They also know the system (somewhat) so less need for gel time.

its funny to hear Jermaine Oneal say "I could have signed with Miami but didnt"

yeah JO you could have came back to Miami FOR THE MINIMUM. Boston offered you what? the full mid level? of course that makes more sense then staying in Miami for the minimum.

we werent going to offer JO the money we gave to MMiller OR Udonis, so JO would have a minimum addition.

whatever helps him sleep at night if he thinks, WE got spurned in that scenario.

I think JJ comes back over Rasual, and probably rightly so. As Heat1114 pointed out, JJ has a better career 3pt %, better 3pt % last year as well, is a better defender, and we already know he's comfortable taking a limited role (if he'll come back on the vet min after barely playing last year, he obviously can handle a sacrificed role) while Butler averaged 33mpg last season and has been playing regularly for awhile, so who knows how he'd do with only getting 10-15mpg or even not playing at all?

Also, I imagine, with Miller's injury history and the possibility of Lebron and/or Wade playing extended periods at PG, that JJ (or Rasual) could have a bigger role this year than our 4th swignman had last year

James Jones was a huge dissapointment .. he has a beautiful shot, but this team stresses defense and the guy cant move his feet. He couldnt get on the court, even with easy competition on this team.

I still think we need a defensive player at guard .. something like what Boston had with Tony Allen last season.

IF we sign JJ .. I would surprised if De'sean Butler doesnt beat him out

JJ is a overrated defender. Thought he was at least in like of raja bell type defense when we signed him but hes really not much better than Cook. At least he can shoot 3s which is all hes good at.
