How are they going to stop us

I have been watching videos of Wade and Lebron on youtube the last few hours and I am just wondering how in the hell are teams going to be able to stop these 2 guys? They couldnt stop them when the could focus the whole defense around them, how are they going to do it when they are both on the same team???
Has there ever been a pairing like this in the NBA as explosive as this before?

For some reason the lakers and boston fans think having gasol, bynum, shaq, odom, perkins, j oneal is going to stop wade and lebron..funny thing is these guys will be riding the bench most the game and you will have fisher and rondo playing center...lol.. they r delusional and just don't realize how great this team is going to be...sad

They will flood the court with their tears and delay the game. That's the only way to stop them.

Well, the Magic will funnel those players into Dwight Howard, in order to take advantage of his shotblocking ability. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWjnvYfo6og Yes, the Heat will drive at him to draw fouls but they're still going to have some shots blocked. And you still need to consider how well the Heat will defend. No one's writing them off as a bad defensive team but they still have to demonstrate they can guard the elite teams if they want a title.

People forget that Wade and LeBron are possibly the best defenders at their positions. The positions that the new age NBA allows for the most scoring, with no handchecking. Scoring is done from the perimeter these days. And we have two of the best defenders there who don't pick up fouls.

I think people find it hard to believe that average teams can be good defensively. They start looking at one guy and pointing at him as the reason why. I've seen people post that JO was some kind of anchor to our defense, despite the fact that our points allowed per 100 possessions with him on the court was identical to without him. But when teams our winning it's much easier to say they are a defensive unit... The SA's, Cleveland with Lebron, Lakers, Magic, etc. Meanwhile the top 2 defensive teams last year were Charlotte and Mil.

They will defend fine. They were top 5-6 defensively last season and got much more athletic, better on the boards, and upgraded at 2 starting positions. And I'll take Howard blocking 3-4 shots a game if it means he's playing timid because he's in foul trouble.

Howard couldn't stop Wade last season - he won't be able to stop Wade and Lebron and Bosh this season.

Look for him to be sitting on the bench most of the game.

Its not like you have alot of players from that team coming back to say how good they were last year will determine how good defensively they will be this year. But Lebron and Wade will be beast defenders on the wing's and this should keep them "anywhere" in the top 10.

Joel Anthony, Carlos Arroyo, Mario Chalmers, Udonis Haslem, James Jones, Jamaal Magloire, Dwyane Wade. About half a roster, and the exact same coaching staff. Come again?
