i think its not a given the Nets even get out of round 1

Toronto is not your usuall "young playoff upcoming Team"

they are crazy athletic,have 2 All Star Level Players(Derozan,Lowry) a young Big who could explode(Val) and a really balanced rest of the Team and oh they play really good defence

the Nets would have to Beat them despite not having HCA and this means even if they do that they will be tired for sure

3 wins where by 1 point and all of them could have really gone the other way and the other one remember, went to OT so it was not like they blew us out..

you could say they where lucky 4 times...

do i respect their experienced players? of course.. but remember.. they dont have Lopez so what gave us most trouble come playoff time,a post big is out... PP and KG are not getting younger, Kidd is a rookie coach,he got better as the season moved along but rookie coaches NEVER do anything good come playoff time

would i rather face Tor?.. i think so.. but if we got them.. the Heat have a tendency of remembering Teams who annoyed them.. so they will have in mind the regular season matchups.. and will be more than ready.. so..

am i aware of them.. yeah..

am i scared?

I remember when the nets owned us during the 05-06 season and some guy on the sun sentinel board would always post "nets in six" everyday for that whole season.then we played them in the semi finals & they won the first game by dbl digits!!! I really don't remember what happend after that

Here's my theory: The Nets tanked to get to our side of the bracket, the 6th seed. They probably feel like they can easily beat the Raps and us to waltz into the ECF. Just like the Bulls a few years ago, who thought that just because they beat us in the regular season, we would be easy pickings in the playoffs. We are gonna wipe the floor with them old geezers!

I answered the poll question as to who is going to win the east and it came up with 100% for the Heat. I don't think I've ever seen a realgm poll with 100% before. That is amazing as is your team. Good luck!

Thanks. I wouldn't say it's 100% this year and I can honestly say this will be the hardest journey to a title that Miami has gone through. At the same time, I fully believe Melo is heading to Chicago next year to create a big 3 of Melo-Rose-Noah. So next year, we shall see you again at the top of the mountain!

I agree that they don't think we're easy to beat, but they probably consider us a better matchup for them than Indiana given their regular season success and that's reasonable since Indiana is 4-0 against them (although 3 of those games came early in the season).

I have a feeling that this title is going to be the most satisfying one yet. The first title in the big 3 era was great the second was amazing but the third… The third will be legendary.

a part of me hopes that spo has benched Beasley since the all star break so teams don't really have a big scoop on him in their scouting report, but when we are starved for offense at points in the playoffs he will unleash Beasley. I haven't even complained about his lack of minutes this season at all and understand his flaws, it would just be nice to see. just like oden playing ~10 minutes a game in the first round to slow down big al and give bosh a break and maybe like ~10-15 against hibbert the pacers. in reality we might get 5-10 minutes from oden every other game.

The bobcats fans are already screaming refs and stating that lebron james is 26-3 w/ joey crawford and 41-50 without him

Grasping at straws, although that fact doesnt look good to other fans im sure that there are also refs where he is disastrously bad against

Well than there GM won fixed games and there is no point watching....

Dang it I am really mad now because people will go into threads where crawford is reffing and say "instant win for lebron"

It makes me sick when the leagues integrity is questioned
