They're close but he's not averaging that. He gets up to 15 and 12 then I'll take the kid more seriously. Plus there's more than just 11 points and 9 assist. Is he an impact player on the defensive end? Sorry, I don't see anything special in the kid.

You're a tough sell. Two players last year averaged 15 and 12.

There's a laaaarge area between "Howard/Love production" and "hasn't done anything".

Thompson falls within that area.

Barbosa to Warriors. phew we dodged that bullet.

Definitely the best place for him to try to be useful.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

It's a very different thing if you're not used to it - even seeing it on TV isn't the same. It's awesome though, especially when they do the female part followed by the male & the guys are doing it topless (no homo). I've seen a couple at basketball opening ceremonies (as an opposing coach), & they really give you a buzz. But it would be intimidating as a player.

If we buy into the coaching staff selecting a player who's played 10 competitive NBA games in the last two seasons over two players who have had plenty of regular and playoff game experience in the same time period, then we have to accept the fact that the coaching staff (a) did not care about Rose's potential impact on the team because they're not stupid enough to think he was going to contribute after not playing for so long and so his selection was as much merit as it was bias from the coaches or (b) they were in fact stupid enough to believe he would make a positive impact after not playing for so long, that the selection itself was the result of poor judgment.
If Rose apologists claim it was silly to expect so much so soon, wouldn't the decision to select him have been a silly one also?

Which one is it??

Likely a one-hit kill considering Harden likely doesn't even know how to defend HIMSELF, much less an opposing player.

He can't even defend himself from a Segway.

I saw the video and it's a wax figure of him dunking the ball in a Lakers uniform

He pretended to be a wax figure too, which was funny. But they did that cause now he has a wax figure lol.

That video was like bizarro world to me, all the Asian chicks look at him as some god, meanwhile he sucks at basketball... Like O. M. G. THATS THE REAL JEREMY LIN.

so what? I guess California has a lot of Asians though.

When Lin emerged, for some reason I knew he would be a Laker one day when he was having good times in NY. Lakers have a HUGE Asian fanbase in China as well as LA. They would want their hands on him to bring in money, especially in their down years. Lol yeah LA has a lot of Asian immigrants.

I know some Asians who know Lin, but don't know other basketball players... it's just, one of those things I guess. It's the power of the media lol.
