Of the choices, the "Wade era". There was something fun about watching him come into his own and exceed all expectations, plus the first title, that "all in" 2006 team, coming back from 0-2 in the finals. So much pure joy in that time frame.

Also, as fun as Hardaway/Mourning/Riley were, getting Shaq was kind of the "welcome to the big stage" moment for this franchise.

All the "eras" offer something but ten years from now, if the Heat really do realize the vision Riley and Arison have articulated time and again they have for this franchise to not just be a team but be a cultural and generational attraction, it will have "started" with the Wade era and Shaq trade.

Easily the 03-06 era where young wade was balling and the big three era was also amazing to watch.

Speaking of Shaq, here are videos of his two best playoff performances as a member of the Heat during the 2006 championship season.

Two amazing performances.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdO0MeehZjE

That one is the 30/20/5 performance against the Bulls to close them out in Game 6.

That 28/16 and 5 block performance against the Pistons in Game 6 to send the Heat to the Finals.

Too bad there were so few of them during his Heat tenure.

Past 10 years have been great. Hard not to love the past 4 years with 4 finals appearances, though the last year really was more stressful than anything. Just a bunch of complaining and finger pointing and bickering from fans, and injuries and uncertainties from the players.

Speaking of the Shaq/Wade era, one last thing I would like to add is I still feel it's a joke that Nash won that 2005 MVP over Shaq and will finish with more MVP's than the likes of Shaq and Wade.

Doesn't sound or feel right.

Eddie jones era. Ok, maybe not quite, but that 03-04 year, wades rookie season, was the most fun team. Low expectations, real team chemistry, high effort, no prima donnas, climbing the ladder, wades jumper to win the first round, the dunk on JO and taking em to 6. I still think if Wade is not in foul trouble in that game 6 and not coming out on each possession, it goes 7. And who knows. I hated shaq, hated LeBron when he got here (bron grew on me, shaq didn't). I prefer to cheer for a player I like. I'd love to have a 'likeable' team again, top to bottom like 03-04

I enjoyed Wade's rookie season the most as well, that year all the way to the 2004 team before we traded for Shaq were the best years IMO. I thought for a bit that, that team could have won a championship. Seeing it now, with the career everyone outside of Wade had after that year, I was kinda delusional.
