I know is only preseason but Napier had Ennis open on that second chance last second shot. 8-)

There have been a couple times over the last two game Napier should have passed the rock to Ennis.

I like Napier aggressive nature but he needs to think more like a pure passer, and not a scoring guard. Napier has much better PG skills than Colemers, so I just hope he develops that pure point mentality.

Yes. Our PG doesn't have to be the one shooting all the time. I'd have shovel-passed it to Ennis as well in that scenario. I already took a shot and missed. Maybe that's where Miami will miss LeBron.

Overall Napier's decision making has been decent though, he is a very much under control and doesn't throw the first pass he thinks might arrive.

His main negatives right now are that #1, he tends to hold on to the ball for too long. #2 jumpshot isn't falling.

I agree but he should only get better with time. He might hit his stride after all-star break or maybe next year but he's only a rookie...

I think Ennis and the number 32 is a perfect fit. I feel the number goes well with the name and thats why I will pick up an Ennis jersey.

:noway: rookie of the year?

1- No.

2- Spo isn't gonna give him enough minutes to even be in the conversation.

3-Spo one more time.

4-He's simply not that good. There is a reason we sign broke knees granger and players no one wants like Shannon. I said this before, he will be this years Beasley. Not in terms of production, or abilities or anything.I mean in terms of all fans asking for him game in an game out, only to see spo turn to Granger aka new Lewis.

Bring the hype down, I would recommend changing the name of the title as well, quite embarrassing. Just like this King Ennis nonsense but w.e.

Don't have much depth at the SG and our SFs are Deng/Danny/Ennis. I think Spo is looking to cut more minutes down this season all around and go deeper into the bench. And unlike Beasley, Ennis isn't hopeless in our defense so there's no real reason to keep him out of games.

Cole/Rio/Napier
Wade/Shannon/Dawkins?
Deng/Danny/Ennis
McBob/UD/Shawne
Bosh/Birdman/Hamilton

I think Dawkins, Shawne & Hamilton are going to be in suits all year. I also think Spo is going to go deeper in our bench and spread the minutes. But we'll see.

Don't look into the ROY stuff. We're fans, we're going to have our fun.

I hope your right king and not me. I prefer Ennis over Granger and Brown. Hopefully spo surprises us all.

How many games have to seen of Ennis?

You're the first person to say he isn't that good

He can actually shoot and plays defense. His ball handling isn't great, but he is still learning.

From Austalia, to summer league, to now he has been consistent. Double digits every night and his defense has gotten better since summer league.

Oh and this thread is a huge homer thread but I don't think people actually think he will get it lol. That title will go to a starter, probably Wiggins or Jabari

KING ENNIS brings more to the table than Beasley. Ennis is better than Brown and Granger.

I'm still laughing.

I haven't seen any preseason so I could be entirely off base but this sounds just like the "Cole Big 4" talk a couple of seasons ago.

I hope I'm wrong but fans have a tendency to overrate their late picks during preseason.

Not even close to the same thing. Ennis has way more upside. A very good player on the offensive end and much improved on the defensive end. The only concern that I have is that he exerts a little too much energy on both ends and will tire quickly.

Again I haven't watched a second of preseason. And he has way more upside than Big 4? There was considerable Cole hype from the preseason and then he had a couple of good games.

Of course he has more upside than Cole but at the time the hype was similar to this. We'll see. I'm hoping for at least a rotation player.
