I found it curious he was on the injury report with a hip issue the other day. He wasn't logging any time, so I'm guessing it happened it practice.

Seriously though, this season.

Even though it doesn't mean much seeing as he has been buried on the bench. It's a damn shame he'll be missing the regular season.

The amount of injuries on this team just sucks. Not a day goes by where I don't think about a healthy Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh, and Whiteside lineup. So nice I read it twice.

*Sigh*... Here's hoping for a much healthier season next year.

we have 3 players out for the season

And many others in and out

What a terrible season. Even if Shabazz wasnt playing much lately, how does this happen? He got it in practice and he needed freakin surgery? Are you serious

He'll have quite a bit of work to do in the offseason as it is; hopefully he can resume basketball activities in a few short months and then work on developing a real rhythm at this level. This next season will be big for him, first round pick be damned. Riley has already shown that he has no problem shipping out struggling prospects in a big free agent year if he has to.

I don't think we need a fringe player with herniated disc on the roster. Can we cut him for Byron Mullens?

That is a frustrating injury to deal with, just finding someone to diagnose it is a problem. I am going to be curious how he bounces back from it because I am going through the same thing right now.
